Popeye's Chicken has a unique flavor and should be tried once if you eat poultry.

Popeye's popcorn shrimp comes in 1 size, and it is tasty, but what I like most is the spicy flavors of Popeye's cocktail sauce.

Popeye's biscuits are amazing. A Popeye's biscuit has so much buttery flavor baked in, putting butter on the biscuit would probably kill the flavor or be overkill on the taste of butter. A pro-tip in our house is to order extra Popeye's biscuits so we can add honey for dessert, jelly or preserves whenever we want it, eggs & cheese for breakfast, a country gravy for breakfast or dinner, or other culinary ideas requiring a buttery piece of biscuit or bread.

My wife and I tried the strawberry biscuit for dessert, and while we were not offended by the flavor, my wife and I would characterize the biscuit as mediocre at best. We much prefer to innovate our own desserts with Popey's biscuits over the Strawberry dessert biscuit.

The food was good, but the workers just let the containers of sweet tea sit at the counter and drive thru empty.....until another couple asked about it. I came from McDonalds across the street who didn't have any as well and it was going to take 20 mins....like seriously, is there a sweet tea drought? So one lady took care of it and later another dude with a nose ring just taking orders had the nerve to ask why no one was getting orders, when he could've stopped and filled some orders....it wasn't that busy. The lady who went to get the tea had to tell him that she was only one person, she had to get the tea cause everyone else acted like they couldn't do it. She seemed like the only professional worker there. The guys had on earrings, nose ring, and one dude even had an apron with gloves on, but placing his headphones in his ears.....with the serving gloves....and turned around to start getting peoples' food ready. UNPROFESSIONAL as well as UNSANITARY.....earwax chicken. That was my 1st visit to that location, but if I go again and see that, I am definitely going to...

placed a mobile order at 10 and they fulfilled it perfectly, no issues whatsoever. great customer service and employees! great atmosphere

edit: seems like it's another hit or miss place when it comes to service. have been here for 30 minutes waiting for a chicken sandwich and fries. i guess they're just backed up? shouldn't take that long for such a small order. i've worked in food service before. it seems like this delay was due to employee negligence because my order was not prepared until i said something 30 minutes later. the employees literally would just stare at me while i was waiting instead of asking me if i needed help. and there were countless orders being served before me. i guess that's what i get for not being assertive enough? please train your employees better. i do not recommend this location whatsoever. your money is much better off spent at the other restaurants at the plaza

decent food, terrible service. next time i'm going to McDonald's across the street and ordering a mccripsy.
