Tapioca Express — Restaurant in National City

I have been a loyal customer for this place for so long that I don't even remember since when. Most of the staff already knows me and even prepare my drink before ordering since I always order the same exact item. The other day on my way to work I called to place an order for me and my co-workers over the phone and I was surprised and shocked to hear that they don't take orders over the phone, except for the delivery services such as Door Dash, Uber eats, etc. I got to the store and placed my order on the register and explained one of the employees I was trying to save time and that is the reason I was trying to place an order over the phone and made it a suggestion to be prevented to ownership for consideration. I then left with thewas treated as a complete stranger. Thereafter, another employee even stated that "that it was not the drinks. As I was taking off I noticed I had all drinks wrong. I had to go back and re-ordered them and wait again in a way that now I was running late to work. I then asked for the manager's name and number to call her later on. I was told simply NO. I asked then for a way to contact the manager. Employees refused to provide me with any contact information. Just right before leaving the store, the employee in charge stated "make sure next time you leave plenty of time before you go to work so you won't be late if you stop by our store" . I believe that was rude and totally disrespectful for a long time loyal customer. I don't believe I deserved to be treated like a total stranger. Came for a quick tapioca drink. Love the fact that places like this exist here. It's my first time coming in this shop so we decided to order some porkbuns and fishballs. The fishballs are just like the Filipino street food except they only offer ranch or sweet and spicy sauces. The porkbuns came in a pack of 5 which wasn't noted on the menu they had up. So now instead of 2 porkbuns, we have an excess of 8 additional ones. Not much of a complaint with how much i paid for it but it would be nice to know how many pieces im getting before i ordered since it clearly said "pork bun" not "pork buns". Granted they're the smaller sized ones. Quality of the porkbuns can be compared equally to those of frozen store-bought porkbuns. Will more than likely go back here and try different flavors when I'm craving some tapioca drink. Also, one of the employees said that couples usually go here but I'm guessing most of them are college or highschool students. I have been there in the past, so I am rating based on both experiences. The staff is friendly and for the most part nice. The first time they were super busy and it took forever for my order to be ready, way more than half an hour forever. The second time they weren't and it took 10 minutes tops to give me my 7 drinks. Which is ironic because the first time the drinks were great! The second time they were wrong, as in I have no idea what flavor they were because you could hardly taste them, they were all watered down and gross. I ordered 2 ice peach green teas that stayed in the refrigerator for days because they were so bitter it was impossible to drink them. I was asked if I wanted my receipt. I said no because I had such a good experience in the past. I called to complain but have nothing to prove my purchase with, so no luck getting a refund! If you come here don't forget your receipt!
