*UPDATE AGAIN ALMOST A YEAR LATER. management is a revolving door. Always someone new. ROACHES STILL EVERYWHERE. THEY ARE NOW TOWING PEOPLES VEHICLES AGAIN!!! They care more about residents vehicles than they do FIXING ANY OF THE PROBLEMS HERE. they blame residents for the issues here… sending out letters saying they will start fining residents for stupid reasons. STILL CAN SEE THROUGH THE ROOFS. RODENTS LIVE IN THE CEILINGS. ROACHES EVERYWHERE. TOWING CARS WHICH ARE NOT A FREAKING PROBLEM. CHARGING RESIDENTS FEES FOR THEIR LACKS.
They just told everyone “if trash is piled up, keep walking to find another place throw your stuff away.” They are now threatening to FINE people for putting trash BESIDE the over flowing trash cans. INSANE I cannot make this up. This place needs to be reported. Only reason I’m still here currently, is my hands are tied at the moment. Otherwise I would be leaving this place ASAP!!!! DO NOT COME HERE. NOTICE ALL THE COMMENTS REPLYING TO THESE COMPLAINTS ARE THE SAME. THEY DONT CARE!!!!!
THE OWNER IS A JOKE! Management is a joke! Maintenance guys are very kind but cannot speak any English and are not provided anything to help communicate with residents.
*TO THE OWNER - DO BETTER OR SELL THIS TO SOMEONE WHO CAN DO YOUR JOB CORRECTLY.
Original post: Where to begin… Summary- ROACHES AND BUGS EVEN IF YOURE OCD CLEAN, RAN DOWN, AC DOESNT WORK, ROOFS ARE DESTROYED, RAIN GUTTERS DONT EXIST, WEATHER STRIPS IN DOORS DONT EXIST, MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS, WASHING FACILITY IS FILTHY AND PRICEY, POOL IS NEVER CLEANED OR OPEN, MOST UNITS HAVE MOLD, TRASH ALWAYS EVERYWHERE, THEYLL TOW YOUR CAR BEFORE FIXING THEIR UNITS.
Need more details? There are bugs in the townhomes and apartments. Including roaches! Management is super rude to speak to, they always respond with an attitude or as if you’re bothering their day. Trash is always piled in the dumpsters, they are never consistent on having it taken out. Which brings more rodents and bugs to the units that already have those issues due to poor management.
The units are old and falling apart, dishwasher leaks, cabinets under sinks falling apart. Mold in a lot of units. Washer and dryer facility is gross. They never clean it and the machines are constantly broken, also pricey for the trashy quality they provide. The pool is RARELY open because “no one is here” meaning they force the kids to play in 100+ heat on the weekends because they don’t want to open it. (Hours are supposed to be 10-10 but it’s never opened for more than 3 hours IF they decide to be here) they also never clean it! They don’t care about their community or residents here, they had no issue towing countless homes vehicles for little petty reasons like expired tags, or the vehicle looking rough. Even though their entire units look ran down and rough, they care more about our cars than the units. This place could have so much potential if other people ran it and CARED about their residents.
The only reason these sweet families stay, is location and price. But even then, the price needs to decrease due to how poorly this place is ran and how much they make their residents suffer. Price is way too high to live somewhere this gross and uncared for.
*UPDATE. the place gets worse and worse.
The SAME DAY the health department closes the pool, the management folks think it’s a good idea to post pool flyers inviting everyone to swim… I CANT MAKE THIS UP!!!
Also look at the roofs! YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THEM! (Will get a photo at night when you see LIGHT AND RAFTERS clearly through the roofs) No wonder the apartments/townhomes can’t hold any AC! It’s so hot in here yet they tell you that you can’t have window units. LOOK AT THE ROOFS!!!!! How is this place open?! Worst management ever. Lower your rent now and fix everything!
Also rain gutters are missing on most buildings and people have flooding. What the hell is wrong with these people running it?
Will continue to add updates until management gets their act together....
Read moreI hope you have some tea or coffee for this one. If you really wish to look past the reviews and say to each their own then to each their own. this property has had more management and owner changes within the last year than I would actually like to count. But for the sake of the review i'm pretty sure it has been 4-5. I mean who really cares at this point right. So when you move into your nice half a** renovated apartment if you were one of the lucky ones, you may or may not get free pets. Yes you read right free pets. One tenant caught six baby mice during the summer. I personally have dealt with mice with two different units and the 2 one was literally a few months after we moved in. So expect to be catching mice all through out the year. you may or may not have bug issues. The centipedes are the new roaches and what ever else is outside will get in because of the foundation cracks that meet you before enter your home. You can spray all you want. My dish washer has not worked since I've moved in and I have put in multiple requests for it but you know no one can keep up with anything because who knows who will be owning this place next week. When its time to wake up in the morning you may or may not have hot water or if it's hot the pressure may or may come out full blast. Don't bother setting an alarm because the squirrels will say rise and shine before you dream about your first cup of mojo. If you have a leak in your apartment and the ceiling is bubbling up they will stop the leak by simply replacing the roof and leaving you with a beautiful eyesore to look at as you watch tv and the ants from inside the crusty hole come come down to watch SVU Law and Order with you. I have found worms and snails in my apartment that did enter through the door they cam through the cracks of the wall. Another elderly tenant needed her bathroom fixed and so they gutted the walls out and left her with a beautiful frame of insulated pink foam to shower next to. Yup saw that one with my own two eyes. You will pay for the the amenities of a pool and fitness center that is unusable. Yes, you can run on a treadmill that you can't see your calories on and look at a locked pool that needs to be fixed. Do they work on the pool? Absolutely, they tinker and tinker and what do u know. It still does not work. So guess what happens next? You guessed it!!! You get a new property owner and they send out notices saying well hello we are your new worst F__________ Nightmare. So the most recent tea is the towing they have been doing. Oh yea it gets good. They claim they marked cars but yet not one saw this happen. They must have tagged cars because almost every car they towed the owner of the car ran out their home trying to figure out whats going on. That definitely sounds like they notified everyone. I am very understanding to the fact that we solely rent we do not own anything here however there is a way to handle situations. The funny part is my tags may have shown out of date and I could have been towed. However, I was waiting on my sticker to come in the mail because this is what Indiana does they mail everything from the BMV. If you live in INDY you would know this. Another tenant was waiting for Indianapolis to send her paper work to the BMV so that she could get registration for vehicle. But if you ever have had to deal with Indiana you would know they take their time with situations like these. But as they say if you would have read your lease you would know they don't have to notify you of anything pertaining to violations with vehicles. Understandable however that would have been a foul tow in both situation because of ASSumptions. to be continued on the next...
Read moreWhen my girlfriend and I first moved in. The first of September this year. We were bewilder on why nothing was completed like management promised us on the 20th of July when we came to sign the papers. We tried to get answers, but when we tried it was equivalent to pulling a completely healthy tooth from an unsedated already irate cat. All the answers to our questions were inaccessible according to management, or they were just "way to busy to worry" about it at this time, but told us they would get back to us as soon as possible with a disgruntled demeanor. My girlfriend decided to call management and leave a message. Since they were never in their office; she also thought it would be a smart idea to write a note, and stick it to their door for good measure like they suggested. The next day she called Headquarters; letting them know of the several issues we had, and we weren't in the apartment more than 12 hours. After being on the phone with them for roughly 45 minutes discussing the various issues that we have. They told us they would go ahead and put in a work order for our apartment so everything can be fixed asap, and to call maintenance when we get off the phone. They were quick to apologize, and try to resolve this manor in which we both were extremely appreciative of. So, we followed the directions that of which HQ had directed us to do, and proceeded to call maintenance; which in fact we DIDN'T have at the time like they said we did! Management and ourselves were finally able to sit down and talk after multiple attempts so we could discuss the several issues, and that we weren't even moved in a full 12 hours before We tried contacting everyone We could about issues yet no-one was responding. We had been there less than Mind you they pushed our move in date back 3 weeks to Sept. First of this year so issues can be fixed, relaced and refurbished. Then told us you did not have to worry about paying any of August's bills because our move in date was the first of September. When we finally moved in we were greeted by other members of the community. The few we had spoke to were ill-advised by management of the process of things as well as us. They told us (and various members) the only other bill(s) besides rent. Which in my opinion; is a little excessive considering what we are paying for. Would be the electric and the gas. My girlfriend and I both questioned management and had them repeat themselves several times prior to us signing any paperwork and after any paperwork. "Are you sure that is all we are having to pay is just electric, rent, and gas correct?" Management hastily repeats themselves. "Why yes, yes, yes! Now isn't that just amazing? That's all you have to worry about!" Turns out we have to pay for everything!! It says we have to pay rent, electric and gas, but undisclosed that we also have to pay a utility service charge, sewer charge, trash fee, and base fee and usage charge for water. Which in the long run really is NOT worth living here. I guess it's a good thing that management has it in contract that all we owe is rent, gas, and electric. Luckily they didn't catch their own mistake until it was to late and everything was finalized.
This isn't even as bad as what most people go through here in...
