China House — Restaurant in New Albany

In the past 10 years things have changed on the menu such as stuffed clam shells they're kind of gooey and Pasty but they used to be more desirable a different stuffing was put in them that was similar to that of seafood pie containing cabbage and for the past 3 years noticed the wings and drumettes the breading on them is delicious but many times they're undercooked and Rancid today was one of those days that history repeat itself when my wings were bleeding I presented that to the waitress she mentally took it to the kitchen returned about two minutes later nothing was done about the wings and drumettes on the steam table 15 minutes later as I was leaving that waitress ask me if I found everything okay I said well no because nobody checked the steam table no new wings were put out and this is been about the 4th time in a year that that has been a problem she snickered as if it was a secret between the two of us that the cook in the kitchen is not doing his job it is questionable whether management is a family order or it's a business order that's made by an individual who's not family whatever the case may be here's my post I don't eat there as often as I used to because I'm holding something toward eating there as I like other flavor profiles of the buffet I pointed this out to the same waitress three other times that it's smells rancid and is undercooked and she said she can't do anything about it other than to say something to the Cook who is the damn boss I am...

Yes, the building is a little older.. but let me tell you something about this place, it is awesome! We have eaten here several times and never had an issue. Sometimes if you come after a slow lunch, there will be food left over.. but I have watched them change the food out, and I've also seen how they do it at other buffets.. they do it the correct way here. They put the new stuff in, and put the older product on top. I've seen people at other places pour the new right on top. The lady that works here is always very polite and busy. I'm always so impressed at how well she handles everything, despite being the only server. It's usually not crowded, so you actually hear your conversation. . Although I have seen some people come in who were... to put it nicely, obnoxious, and rude to the server.. it makes me feel bad for her, but she is always really nice despite it. We will always go here. I added a photo and plan on adding more the next time.

This place is pretty good never had a bad experience here , staff refills your drink and clears your table like every 30 seconds , food is refilled often even when I'm the only one in the place , 6 dollars for lunch and 9 dollars for dinner , soda is 2 dollars water is free , good deal , you can even take food Togo if you like , they gave me a container I filled it up to the brim and it only cost 7 dollars extra , they recently remodeled and got a new owner and it's even better than before ,it's quiet inside and has free wifi you can hang out on your laptop if you like during lunch and get work done ....only bad thing I say is the dessert , the ice cream machine is often turned off and only has two or three cookies that look old so I often skip dessert ...also there is no habichi or stir fry here , and no...
