If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I had never been to a head spa, so I had no idea what to expect. My husband surprised me with this gift for Mother’s Day, and after watching countless TikTok videos about these treatments, I was super excited! The salon is clean and welcoming. I was greeted right away when I entered and I didn't have to wait at all. I had the option to have the whole treatment explained to me as it was done or for the tech to remain silent. I chose the latter because I have four kids at home, and that hour of peace alone was a luxury on its own.. But it just got better from there. I was only half-conscious by the time she was done (the scalp and shoulder massage had just the right amount of pressure), and my hair felt buttery soft. You know that feeling when you get a new haircut? It was just like that, except I haven’t gotten a haircut in a couple of months. That’s how fresh and clean this magic maker had my hair. The blow dryer was also the coolest thing. I have very thick curly hair, and she had it perfectly straight with nothing but a fancy hairdryer vacuum thing in like 15 minutes. The before and after scalp analysis was further proof that she truly worked her magic. The music was great, the water sounds and temps were soothing, the heated bed was perfection, and she even tucked me in with a blanket. Every product she used smelled amazing. My scalp is in absolute heaven. I got the 1 hour head spa and it did not disappoint! You are in a private room with relaxing music in a comfortable chair and can just relax (no talking necessary). I was worried my neck would get sore like it can when just getting a hair wash, but it was sooo comfortable! I was interested in the scalp health aspect to an extent... but I was mainly there for the Head scratches that I see on tiktok! She perfectly lifted my head as needed, and I never felt like I had to 'help her' or figure out what she was doing. I am a massage therapist and get my scalp massaged regularly, but this was still a whole new experience! You can feel that it does so much for your scalp health beyond the soft tissue benefits of the massage... The cleansing and skin health was very apparent afterwards. The owner of this salon is on top of her game with her science-backed approach and treatment options designed to promote hair and scalp health. She really cares about her clients and goes out of her way to accommodate her client's needs - even allowing early arrivals to come into her shop before her official business hours are set to begin so they don't have to wait in their car.
