How are you going to charge more money for something used that was donated then what it cost brand new with the original price tag still on the item from the original store thats pathetic and if its used and dirty, filthy don't put it out for someone to purchase extremely unsanitary and digusting when it has burnt dried up food still on it or when you go to purchase travel mugs and there is old liquid still in there like coffee or dried up milk which when you open it gives off a horrendous smell your prices on electronics are incredibly overpriced you can go to your local Walmart and buy most of the electronics you guys sell brand new for half the price if you don't believe me look at it yourself what you're selling is used old items that were donated why are you charging so much money for a nonprofit organization I feel that it is all about profit and how you guys can put money in your pocket it's not about helping the organization you guys say you guys really are trying to help because if that was the case your prices would not be anywhere near what they are everyone knows the cheaper the price the faster it comes off the shelves and people will buy more so why are you charging more than what the price of an actual brand new item is for used donated item you guys are disgusting money-hungry pathetic excuse for an...
Read moreWill NEVER shop at Savers again. Corporate decision making has killed Savers/Value Village. All other stores have re-opened fitting rooms, Savers has not (in fact fitting rooms are gone entirely). On top of that they have an Exchange Only Policy which does not match well with no access to fitting rooms, especially for women's clothes which notoriously are not the right size according to labels. Therefore, I'm forced to buy too much to only try them on at home. I then will have a pile of clothes that don't fit, that I can't return, and instead have to scavenge the isles for more clothes that I have to buy without knowing they fit. Lastly, these decisions were most likely made by corporate because they also decided to have all self checkouts. Saving THEM money on staff, utilities, and now a policy which is a one way funding system to fill THEIR POCKETS. Disgusting way to sell used clothing. Even worse for the clothing recycling business because now I have one less place to shop for used clothing. The brick stores...
Read moreI recently went to this Savers store with my 2 daughters ages 7 and 5. After shopping for about an hour I was ready to check out. Upon checking out we had a item (a small teddy bear) that the Price Tag seem to have fallen off. The cashier who also was the store manager Rose said that I would be unable to purchase the item due to no price tag. My 5 year-old daughter heard what the women said and began crying. She was so upset to point that see was almost hyperventilating. The store manager continued to state that there was no way that she could make a price and sell the item....How ridiculous does this sound...Items that are donated to the store that have 0 dollar value and would have sold for around 2-3 dollars normally the store manager allowed a customer to leave that upset over a 2 to dollar decision...Absolutely unacceptable. I would will never step foot in this store again and would suggest that others read this review and know what type of people are running this...
