Caliente Mexican Grill New Bedford — Restaurant in New Bedford

The workers were awesome. Very nice and accomodating. My daughter hated the food. I thought it was ok not the best but good for the price. The portions were very big not like chipolte. I spent around 60 bucks on me and my dad and daughter. They also will give you a percentage off if your a W.O.W member so that's a plus. The only thing was when leaving there was a bunch of huge rats outside. I was so freaked out. Had i seen them earlier i would of left the moment i got there. Wish i would of caught it before. I just wont be coming back😅. Too bad though The music and lighting was perfect but the some tables and seats were dirty. The ambience of the place was nice. Although many tables had crumbs or left over food on floor from previous persons. Honestly had it not been for the gang of rats because there was a lot and they were huge. I would of given 3 stars maybe 3 and half but that showed me that the place wasnt very clean especially inside seeing how dirty it was. Bathroom appeared clean but i still felt this grimey feel about them. Idk lol Also when i got home i got very very sick. Not sure if it was the food not being handled propetly or maybe it just the spices used. I'm not sure .i don't want to assume but i have been very sick about an hour after i left and have major stomach cramps. Thank you. Again the staff were very sweet and accomodating. My family of 5 went there at 9pm last night after my son’s graduation. I was so happy with everything in this restaurant. The staff was courteous and attentive. The food came out quickly and was amazing!! The best Mexican I have had in the states, definitely comparable to Mexico! Other folks must had had the same idea to go to Caliente late at night following the graduation of Newbedford high because the place got very busy with families and the staff worked so hard to accommodate everyone. Wow, what a horrible place to call and get a delivery. I just called to get food, was put on hold twice, I think they forgot I called. He was speaking so low and the noise behind him was louder then him. Told him my order but after a couple of times of him asking me to repeat my order because it was so god damn loud, it was a lost cause at that point so I hung up. The fact that I called that particular one was because my work is just down the street. So delivery should be ok. Nope!!!! Now I have call the one in Dartmouth and hope...
