If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I was walking around filming a YouTube video to show people what there is to do in Gruene. The moment I walked in, she asked what I was filming, and I replied YouTube and then stopped recording to respect the business. As someone who films quite often I purposely do not record other people or young children to protect others privacy. Once I walked away, my sister heard the owner talking about myself, saying that I was filming to open my own boutique and steal their ideas, nothing about protecting their customers. If I wanted to open a boutique, it would look nothing like hers and that is not my intention as I already own several businesses of my own. My sister assured her we are only visiting and filming to show people what to do in the town. I would not recommend going into this store, they have cute items but not cute enough to overcompensate for their lack of respect of potential customers. I will be including the entire experience in my YouTube video as well as the footage and audio from the event. All she had to do was say something along the lines of . “Ma’am, Can I kindly ask you to not film in our store.” And that would have been that. No big deal we would have spent our money there. But being rude then commenting behind the counter about potential customers does not look good on the business. Seems we should have looked at past reviews from other customers then we would have been warned. Business owner or not, the way you treat customers is huge. It’s funny that other boutiques there had no problem with my filming and those who did, kindly asked with beautiful customer service attitude and still we thoroughly enjoyed spending our money there. Attitude in customer service makes a huge difference and as I can see by the response the Apple doesn’t fall far...

I had the unfortunate displeasure of encountering the epitome of rudeness at Pookies. The customer service lady's demeanor was not only unwelcoming but outright abrasive. Instead of offering assistance, she seemed annoyed by my presence, making me feel like an inconvenience while also watching my every move. It's disheartening to receive such poor treatment in a place where one expects courtesy and professionalism. Especially in a tourist place like Gruene where many come from all over. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon except to I GUESS use my store credit from my return listed below. My experience with Pookies was incredibly disappointing. After purchasing an item that turned out to be unsatisfactory, I attempted to return it. However, instead of accommodating my request, the lady helping me made the process unnecessarily difficult. She was rude, unhelpful, and even questioned the validity of my return. It's unacceptable to be treated with such hostility when simply trying to exercise my consumer rights. Needless to say, I won't be patronizing this establishment again, and I advise others to steer...

Went in to shop, there are signs everywhere saying you are on camera, a few too many in my opinion. Then I go in to try on an item and notice the camera above the fitting room. Anyone in retail knows that cameras should not be within sight of the fitting room, even if pointed another direction that is not ok. Then there are more signs in the fitting room about GOD watching and how you should not steal. It is a bit much! I asked the owner if they had a problem with shoplifting and she rudely says everyone is entitled. I purchased the items I was looking at, however was very disappointed in her behavior and rude demeanor. Very uncalled for from a simple question.
