Shippers are Inefficient and have a “no care” attitude.
I arrived at 3:30pm and checked in. All the shipping clerks seemed out in space. They put me in a dock and then I checked in again. They then told me I was at the wrong dock even though they told me to go to that dock. I was then told to go to dock 10.
I sat in dock 10 for 2 hours and then checked back in to see what was going on. They then looked at me puzzled like a deer in headlights. I reminded them of where I was going and they were like “Oh ya! Umm…we will get you loaded.”
So they loaded me but then noone came to tell me they were done; they just closed the dock door and left the paper work in back. I went and checked in again, only for a new guy who had just came in for his shift to tell me he had no clue who I was or what was going on. He then asked someone and they said “Oh ya! Tell him I put his paperwork in the back.” So I checked in the trailer and it was way inside on top of product.
It is like everyone there were in la la land just wandering around not having any clue what was going on.
Loading only took 15 minutes but that was after a 2 hour wait because they literally forgot I was even there needing...
