Lee's Produce — Local services in New Castle

This place is inside the market and is one of the many stalls you can visit . It’s busier on Sundays and by then most of the fresh fruit is sold out . It’s better to go on Saturday because sometimes if you go on Thursday or Friday they probably are awaiting deliveries because you don’t see much fresh stuff. Prices are not cheap and in fact some of their prices like Thai guava are like 4.99 per pound when you can buy them in Asian supermarkets for $1.99 per pound. Apples are around $1.49 per pound but the quality is not always good .Sometimes it’s like you are buying below grade products . I don’t go here much now because I find very prices for the same fruit at places like Aldi and quality and prices are good. Other than the Amish shops in here the rest is really not worth writing home about . There are lots of eating places but don’t expect...

Manager, at least i think that she is the manager, is pathetic. I'll never shop here again. While I was placing items in my bag as she rang them up, she snatched the bag from my hands and looked inside to see if I was stealing. I had been spending at least $30+ for months at this place....

Everything is so fresh. No better place in the entire state to buy produce year 'round. I've lived in all three counties. Lee's is by far the freshest with the best prices. Don't like the crowds. Get there at 9am...
