Five Below — Local services in New Orleans

I shop at five below every chance I get. I enjoy the variety as well as the great prices. The customer service is usually pretty good. This particular visit started off great as we were greeted as we walked in by friendly associates. We were pretty much the only customers in there. It started to feel uncomfortable when I notice several associates following my husband and I around the store and watching us from an aisle away. I understand that its the holidays and loss prevention is a necessity especially in retail but there is a way to do your job and not make your customers feel uncomfortable. As we headed to the front of the store there were 2 associates standing near the door, watching us. Needless to say, I just wanted to put everything we picked up back on the shelf. I wrapped up my visit only purchasing the few items I had in my basket at the time. They didnt close for another hour. Very stalkerish, who wants to shop like that! Before and during the pandemic, this place was good. Right now, they are reorganizing the store many times over. I walked in, not thinking, just going to the technology section for a new phone charger, but was in the beauty section.
