Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in New Orleans

This location is a lot slower when it comes to the speed of service than most Chick-Fil-A‘s in the New Orleans area. I find myself stuck in the drive-through line for up to 10-15 minutes more often than not when I visit this location. And it’s a CHICK-FIL-A!!! Chick-Fil-A’s are known for their speed and great customer service. This location does not reflect these qualities whatsoever. Also, they tend to get our order wrong the majority of the time. You ordered a peach milkshake? Expect a vanilla milkshake, which is what I got instead. Want a grilled chicken sandwich? Here’s a fried chicken sandwich. You ordered a regular Chick-Fil-A sandwich? How about a deluxe Chick-Fil-A sandwich, fully dressed? I gave my sandwich back for them to correct my order, and they messed it up AGAIN!!!! If I received this type of service at a Mcdonald’s or Taco Bell, I wouldn’t think twice. But I would never expect this type of service and inaccuracy at a Chick-Fil-A. I am a Chick-Fil-A LOVER, but this location has left a bad taste in my mouth, just like the cold buns on my sandwiches. Lastly, if you get breakfast in the morning and order at the speaker in the drive thru, expect to wait a couple minutes for someone to help you. As someone who stays in Algiers and works in Algiers it was refreshing to see we didn’t have to go inside the mall or drive to Manhattan Blvd anymore. That went away after the first 2 days. The customer service has always been below subpar but the food was always on point. Yesterday on 02/23 at 19:26 I was waiting for my mobile order for 15 min to be told to get out the line and pull to the side and the food would be brought to me. After 5 minutes I was told to get back in line to have my order retaken. The manager taken my order told me the food would be “promo’d” and the grill sandwich would be upgraded for the inconvenience. Sadly when I got to the window I received the cold food that’s been waiting on me for 20+ minutes. The girl at the window was rude the manger came to the window to act as if she didn’t promise the things she promised at the time of retaking my order. Every time I go the kids (workers) are always playing about the work that’s not getting done. I know it’s training and they are just being kids but at this point it’s not even worth it. Even when there’s no line it’s a wait for no legit reason and a lot of workers just standing around. Which in many of my encounters lead to cold food, soggy food, or...

I was so excited for this to open, but it has truly left something to be desired. Service was great and fast, however, our food was cold. The mac was runny and not cheesy. I ordered a 12 pc nugget and was shorted nuggets because apparently large crumbs of batter count as a nugget. There is a limit of 2 sauces, including ketchup, or pay for each additional. You have to be kidding me. Prices are also higher than other locations, and it adds up quickly. Paid for bacon to be added, almost $2, and I got 3 half pieces. I could have bought a half a pack of bacon for that. I am sorely disappointed that this is what we get after waiting for so long for this to open. Great service cannot make up for cold and lackluster food. And not to mention you almost get run over trying to cross the drive through lanes to go inside. Very poorly designed.
