The Winn-Dixie on Carollton is a very organized store with plenty of products. My service experience was very lazy and inconsiderate to say I was in a self-checkout lane. The machine's payment selection option on the screen was unresponsive. I elected help when an associate eventually came over citing simply "what's wrong?" She couldn't resolve it, but said she is on lunch and someone else would help in a bit. Although a 10-minute wait for someone to come to self-checkout to assist, eventually another rep came and said the same thing, "what's wrong?" As the card swiper still said please wait for the cashier being I swiped my card and went through the prompts, she informed "You are the cashier." I told her I know, but the payment portion froze. She vented aloud that she couldn't wait to get out of here, hit some feature to restart the touch screen, though the cc machine still said waiting for cashier, then walked away back to the customer service counter where she had no other person to assist.
As I stood there looking at a screen that started up citing the check out is now closed, for a few extra minutes, eventually the first woman came back and said she was sorry, she was trying to help earlier but, was in the middle of her lunch. She informed me to go to one of the cashier lines, but would make sure I wasn't charged twice. I waited in a new line and eventually checked out.
As an easy consumer, what happened to "how may I assist you? and acknowledging the issue while staying...

The store has really gone down hill. The staff are somewhat friendly. The few stay I've had to interact with have been decent. However when I asked a kid where the limes where he told me he didn't know. They were right behind him.... So anyways my main issue is the cleanliness. I toke pictures of what I could but there was just so much. They're were dead bugs in the cold food shelves. In the frozen section stuff had freezer burn and was encased in ice. I went to grab a packet of smoked salmon from in front the seafood case and it was soaked. It reeked of run off from the case. I also don't buy near from there because their chicken looked grey at the time.
this store first off it has Wi-Fi which is pretty awesome next everything is laid out pretty simply it has the ease of a small grocery store that was a selection of a huge store you walk in the door in your assaulted immediately in a good way of course by all the produce tons of healthy options and the deli and the bakery are all right there you walk straight back and there's a seafood department and meat department so the layout is very nice and very complimentary being so close to Canal Street and to all the hubbub of Tourism this is a great location it's close to City Park so if you want to stop off the street car and grab something for a picnic at the park perfect place to do it I love Winn-Dixie and I love the prices and the quality of the...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever had !!! Rude, impatient and way too occupied with closing the store than helping paying customers. Removed cash registers from the cashiers well before closing while guess were in line without asking or inquiring if anyone was paying with cash or not . I had to personally inquire if the cashier was taking cash as I overheard her tell the person in front of me that she wasnât taking anymore cash with his transaction . I went to self checkout and after ringing everything up , they once again tell me that the damn machine isnât taking cash !!! The smart ass manager by the liquor didnât offer her assistance and only yell across the room and said that the machines stop taking cash at 11:50 ! The nicer gentleman came over and said that he was sorry , but that I had to ring up all my items again at a different register . I refused !! Then , the same young lady who didnât tell me that she wasnât taking cash until I asked, rung my items up and the price differed from what my original receipt said and when I asked her why that was because I had items that were on sale, she responded with âWell, you must have rung up something wrongâ and shrugged . I refused to pay and I left behind $140 worth of groceries because the staff is more occupied with getting out of the store than helping customers. I refuse to spend my money somewhere that treats paying customers this way . Next time Iâm going...
