East of Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in New Philadelphia

They make you pay for the buffet up front so you can't leave from the bad service.

Genuinely the worst place to eat in New Philadelphia, no, Tuscarawas, no, northeast Ohio. They claim there is a buffet, but we came here at 5 and there was already a few families here and two pizzas out. Two parties of 8 came in after us and a couple more couples. They actually just ran out of those two pizzas and would put out one pizza every 10-15 minutes and let the hungry customers fight like animals over what scraps their god East of Chicago allowed them to have. Eventually they ran out of paper plates and that was just when we decided to leave, since I wasn't going to put my air pizza on my air plate to eat. Gross facilities that are unkept, no paper towels or soap in the bathroom, flies in the dining room, and chairs propping doors open and strewn about.

Don't go here, go somewhere else. You deserve...

Used to have food delivered dl from East of Chicago had it delivered to work had it delivered to my home. Early May I called to make a delivery order and a young lady an in the background said can a f** manager get on the damn phone I contacted the owner mr. Johnson who sent me a coupon for a free large pizza which I attempted to use today I was laughed at continuously during the conversation and at 9:28 p.m. on a Saturday night I was told it would take approximately one hour to get the pizza delivered my home is less than a mile away from the pizza shop. We have been here for the buffet many times and it is usually good. Today 7/6/25 we went and they were out of many things. We (and other customers) had to keep asking them to bring out more pizza several times, the lettuce for salads was empty for 45 minutes,we had to ask for French dressing, there was no pasta salad and it was not filled at all while we were there,we ask for sweet rolls and were told they would put them on and we waited 25 minutes and they weren't brought out so we left.
