Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Do Not Recommend

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my experience at Empire Buffet was so bad I had to speak up. The food was downright disgusting. The peanut chicken was burnt to a crisp and completely inedible, and the pork chops were loaded with fat—barely any actual meat. Most of the buffet items were either overcooked, dried out, or had clearly been sitting under heat lamps way too long.

To make it worse, the server was extremely lazy and inattentive. It took almost 30 minutes just to get drink refills, and we had to flag someone down more than once. Dirty plates piled up on our table for ages without anyone coming to clear them.

The place was also not very clean—sticky floors, unclean tables, and the food stations looked messy and poorly maintained. For the price they charge, I expected way better.

Skip this place. There are plenty of other buffets out there that actually care about quality and service. Empire Buffet is not worth your...

We go here because it is the only Buffet, but it was better before the pandemic, they have Guatemala people making the food now, they used to have Chinese staff. I don't know why they changed that. I guess it is cheaper, but it changed the food. The Chinese girls was always on top of taking care of your refills, they was overly there to please you, the staff they have now seems to take better care of there own kind. I think they should bring back the pretty Chinese girls and Chinese staff, I do hair for a living. So many of my clients miss the Chinese staff they used to have. Went on a Sunday about 130pm. Was jam packed full. Waited about 10 min and was seated as far away as possible. Young kids running around the buffet tables was complete kaos no sense of flow just everyone going any direction half the food seemed barely warm and all dried out. Had an ice tea to drink only saw my waitress once the whole time and had ask for refill. She never brought it and 15 minutes later she came back and left my bill on the table never saw her again.
