Food was excellent ! A small group of us get together every month for lunch at various restaurants in th Dover/New Phila.area. This month we had five Ladies. Thursday at 12:30 Red Lobster had very few diners. We waited to be seated. Service was extremely slow. We did not receive the Cheddar Bay biscuits until we requested several times. Two Ladies ordered coffee....after several requests for refills we did receive one refill. We were each paying separately, no guest checks were brought to the table, no one was told their total balance. One lady used a card and had to ask for a recept. I used the app and needed scanned for the rewards program. Waitress was not helpful. All but one paid in cash. No one received all of their change. I did tell her to give me $2.00 change (this left her with a 20% cash tip). Again.....the food was excellent !! No excuse for bad service when there are few customers. Under no circumstance should a waiter or waitress fail to return a customer's change or withhold the bill or recept. So.....this restaurant is a nice stop for your meal. Just pay attention to...
Read moreWe decided to go to Red Lobster for my birthday dinner. Bad choice this night I guess.
Our waitress was very nice and professional, thank you.
However when we received our food our crab legs were cold and tough. So we politely asked for a replacement.
Waiting for our replacement we started to eat the other food. My fiance took a bite of the lobster bisque and instantly had to spit the disgusting soup out.
It was cold and lumpy and runny on the top. Obviously old and refrigerator cold.
By now we asked for the manager.
She came to our table, did not apologize for the problem and asked what we would like to do?
I said I'm not sure ma'am I'm hoping you could tell us.
She rudely said she would take off the soup and crab legs if we insisted. I couldn't believe it.
In my time, I travel to alot of restaurants and I have never met a manager as rude, in professional and downright undeserving of her job.
I'm following up with corporate tomorrow to inform them of the behavior of their self proclaimed 'General Manager Erica's
Thanks for the birthday dinner, Red Lobster...
Read moreMy dining experience at Red Lobster was made truly outstanding thanks to our server, Tina. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcomed. Her attentiveness was impeccable—she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and ensured our drinks were always full.
Tina was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and accommodating special requests without hesitation. Our food arrived promptly and was perfectly prepared, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure we were enjoying everything without being intrusive.
What stood out the most was her genuine kindness and enthusiasm. It’s rare to find a server who goes above and beyond to make guests feel valued, but Tina did exactly that. She turned a simple meal into a wonderful experience.
If you’re dining at Red Lobster, I highly recommend asking for Tina—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Tina, for your fantastic service. We’ll...
