Zeno's Boardwalk Sweet Shop — Local services in New Smyrna Beach

All of the ice cream tastes the same. Strawberry has only a hint of strawberry. Same with coffee-only a hint. Salted caramel was too salty. The rainbow tastes like vanilla. Cherry tastes the same -with some cherry chunks. Expected the strawberry mint sorbet to taste more like strawberries with maybe a little tart -no luck. tastes like the vanilla ice cream with a hint of strawberry -You can tell that they make everything from their vanilla base and drop in a hint of taste. Expected more from a family that’s been in this area for so long....

Showed up 2 hours before they were closed to a locked door. I saw a middle aged women doing something at the counter. We locked eyes, I told her it’s locked and she seemed to have said they were closed which didn’t make sense. I asked her what she said just to make sure I heard her right, she’s yelling at me through a door about 15 feet away after all. She shooed at me and said good bye as if I was a pest. As a NSB local, We know this building has been through a few dessert shops, but we came in after dinner and Ashlynn was so helpful and sweet! Best experience we’ve had there in a while. She helped is pick out a few sweet treats and was very nice. We chatted for a little bit with our newly wed friends and she was happy to congratulate them.
