Gyftz — Local services in New Smyrna Beach

Always one of my favorite places in New Smyrna Beach. Great gifts and unusual items. Love their ornaments! Also, the service there is off the chart!!!! Saturday, during Wine Walk, there was a heavy downpour which made it very hard to walk anywhere without getting completely drenched. I noticed that an elderly daughter was pushing her mother in a wheelchair were trying to figure out how to get back to their car without an umbrella. The GYFTZ gatekeeper took it upon herself to borrow someone's umbrella and gave it to the daughter, suggesting she go get her car and pull back in to the parking behind GYFTZ. The GYFTZ manager came out and pushed the lady in the wheelchair through the crowd of Wine Walk and the very crowded Courtyard Cafe. Then, he and another employee shielded her from the rain, packed all their packages into the car and sent the mother and daughter on their way. All during the downpour! What an...

My experience may be unique, not sure. I approached the owner sitting behind the counter. Greeted him, asked a question, not a peep back. He kept doing whatever he was doing for half a minute. Very awkward.

Regarding the owner’s response… I first asked your assistant for a seahorse decor on the window - see picture - and she told me it’s price. Then she referred me to you and I attempted to speak to you. Sir, you were simply rude and ignored me, and now deny it making you also a liar. Have a nice day. 🙂
