The main reason why I gave only 1 star is because they know nothing about customer service. The manager is very rude. 😡😡😡

Literally, today i went to the store because its was on my way back home. I bought big jar of LAOGANMA Chili Oil which cause like $8.99. There was no sign of that “Scooters are not allowed”, so I came inside the store with the scooter and I had my backpack in the front. I took what I want from the shelves and paid at the counter. I saw some guys sticking the photos of the thieves and one of them with the scooter at the exit. I was just getting out from the store and I heard some man calling me out angrily telling me to stop and he was suspicious that I stole something from the store. So I let him checked my backpack. I can understand to him till that point. 😕 Then he told me I need to bring shopping bag. I was like “what the heck? I had my backpack. Why would I need shopping bag?” Ok that was it and I was trying to get out of there as soon as possible. But he told me again that I cannot bring my scooter here. I was like “There is no sign that’s why.” He argued that “ There is a sign.” So we both went and checked but there was no sign at all.

I was very angry 😠 at this point now because he first accused me of stealing something, then the shopping bag and then the scooter thing. So I told him to bring me someone who is in charge of. He told me he is the manager. So I told him to call the boss and he was like wasting time and then he calm me down with soft voice and told me to go home safely only now. I asked his name and he did not even dare to tell me his name.🙂

I know this is very long but I am still not satisfied with this store manager. He cannot even speak in English well. I mean he did not try to understand me. He was very rude and has no respect to the customer. Not all scooter guy with the backpack are thieves. 😒You guys should check the Cctvs and the facts whether he did or did not pay for it.

He did not even say sorry. 😤This guy makes my day bad very very bad. I already did call to the store and report about this manager and still I am not satisfied. I know he was doing his job but there are so many polite and respectful ways.

I will never come back to this store NEVER AGAINN!!!!...

This store deserves 5 STARS for being such a life saver throughout the pandemic - I was able to get regular disposable masks (2 boxes of 50 for $5 or $2.5 each box) or the KN95 10 for $2.50 and some of the best veggies and chow fun noodles at awesome prices - they did NOT price gouge which was a relief.

Granted - it's not Whole Foods or Stew Leonards but if you want great prices on basic Asian food staples - this is the place to go!!

As for the staff speaking Chinese - it's no different than any other store that has a majority of any ethnicity ... who cares - the people are decent hard working folks and food is fresh with excellent prices and if you need PPE - this place has it at half the price of the major chains!!!!

Just go late in the afternoon - mornings and early afternoons are a NIGHTMARE to find parking and bring your own...

Wanted to get some Costa Rican produce after my trip there and wasn’t sure Yong Fa would have them but happy that they do. So got some golden pineapples, ripe plantains, one yucca, and some mangoes. The mangoes were from Mexico and they have 3 choices of 3 for $5, $4, or $3. Dunno what is the difference between them as they are similar in size, color, and ripeness so got the 3 for $3 and they were good.
