I actually came here many times even their food is generally pricey but this location is kind of convenient for me sometimes and authentic wontons hits the spot for me. For regular wonton noodle soup costs almost $15 if you pay by credit card. Today i finished my dumpling soup and went to the restroom. The staff didn’t remember me and questioned me with nasty look and tune to scold me I had to be a customer to use the restroom. I said I was sitting there before and they argued with me and said other staff did not see me. Even that is the case, So what? How did they train their employees for a food service business? Have some compassion and sympathy. Once a while, people need help and have urgent nature calling. It is not a big deal to allow non customer to use restroom. They don’t need to talk to me like that. Totally disrespectful and so un-necessary for a paid customer like me or even for someone really needs to use restroom for urgency. There you go. These receipt and picture to prove I was a customer!

A Hidden Gem in Flushing! We had an amazing experience at Maxi Noodles 2 in Flushing, NY! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The food and service were both excellent — everything we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Hong Kong-style noodles were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with just the right texture and flavor. The appetizers and beverages were equally impressive; fresh, well-portioned, and super tasty. You can really tell they put care into every dish. What truly made our visit unforgettable was how Chef Maxi, the Co-Owner, went above and beyond to make our small family dinner feel extra special. We were celebrating our daughter's 7th birthday, and Maxi and the staff took the time to add personal touches that made her (and us!) feel celebrated and appreciated. It’s rare to find that kind of thoughtfulness and hospitality these days. Highly recommend this spot for both casual dining and special occasions. We’ll definitely be back!

Residential street parking nearby and meter parking closer to it. More spacious than the original, cafeteria-style (order at counter, pick up when buzzer buzzes). Cash and credit card prices posted on the menu. Food served in disposable containers. Hot cups and Complimentary hot tea - self-serve. Drinking water in pitchers. Got the 2-topping soup with egg noodle, wontons and dumplings - large pieces filled with shrimp and pork/shrimp respectively. Added 2 dumplings priced by piece; asked to separate added topping of ja jiang - pork and mushroom in tomato-based sauce; not for me bec of sweetness which changed the soup flavor. Curry fishballs were tasty, with a little spiciness. Ordered Fried fish skin separately - were crispy but bland. Dipped them in the red vinegar which was needed (condiments on table). At home, were so much better with spicy filipino vinegar. Lemon ribena is a lemony drink with black currant syrup. Just ok. Will try their HK tea next time. Clean restroom available.

Deeply inappropriate and hostile experience for certain ethnic identities

My friends and I came in for what was supposed to be a casual lunch, but instead found ourselves subjected to an aggressive and deeply inappropriate encounter with a staff member—specifically the waitress who was greeting guests and cleaning tables.

Soon after we were seated, she began asking about our ethnic backgrounds (we are a mixed group of Asians and non-Asians). What started as what we assumed was idle curiosity quickly escalated into something far more disturbing. Upon learning that some of us are Taiwanese and Hongkongers, the waitress launched into an unsolicited and aggressive political rant, repeatedly insisting that “China owns Taiwan and Hong Kong” and challenging our identities in a confrontational manner.

Despite clearly and repeatedly telling her we did not want to discuss politics, she continued to return to our table uninvited to push her views throughout the meal. It was not just uncomfortable—it was invasive, disrespectful, and crossed multiple professional boundaries.

We felt targeted, harassed, and unsafe during what should have been a simple lunch. It is absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant staff member to impose political opinions on guests, especially after being explicitly told to stop multiple times. This behavior was not only unprofessional—it was hostile.

We left feeling shaken and disrespected. We will not be returning, and we strongly urge the management to take...

This is a place I've frequented since it opened at this location. For those who have not been there, this noodle shop is a self served setup. I went there again a week ago, but soon after I placed my order I realized I couldn't find a seat. I immediately asked the cashier to cancel my order because there was no seat available. It was literally just 30 seconds after my order was placed. I told the cashier I would go to do grocery shopping at the supermarket across the street and come back later. However, she didn't practice common sense, to say politely; I lost $14.00 that day. I spent about $50.00 a week at that place, but they're quite busy. I'm sure they don't miss or need my business. I have to select at least one star or I cannot post this review; for this incident, I don't think a star is deserved.

This is a follow up to my previous post of Maxi’s Noodle 2. A couple of days after my comment posted the owner of Maxi’s Noodle responded to my post and offered to give me a refund. She was sincere to resolve the issue, and I believed she was not pretentious. However, that particular staff member had ruined it for me. I do not have any ill will towards the owner, nor I would discourage anyone to give her shop a try. But for me, I have no...

Maxi's Noodles 2 is the second location (I'm guessing you could assume that by the 2) in Flushing, the other location is also in Flushing. Flushing has a wealth of good food options so it must be competitive.

My wife and I are town for a visit and Maxi's 2 is fairly new, about a year old, and I tried it because the original had good reviews and there were people inside. The place looked clean with a lot of seating.

I ordered a wonton noodle soup for my wife and a wonton beef stew noodle soup as take-out. The price is based on number of toppings, including the noodles. You go inside and order and pay at a counter.

They seemed to have a responsive kitchen staff, they made the others right away and my take-out order came out relatively quick, they probably have the wontons and beef stew prepped and ready to go.

The beef stew was very tender and the wontons were all shrimp, I like my wontons with pork too, but didn't mind because the wontons seemed like the biggest ones I've ever had and the wonton mixture was pretty tasty. The food was a decent portion, while waiting it seemed a little bigger for dine-in, but I'm good with it.

Good addition to the...
