From paved roads for biking to gravel paths for hiking this park has both. It seems pretty safe especially for New York. I didn't see many vagrants about. Lots of natural scenery and hilly terrain. Lots of dog walkers and baby strollers on a Monday around 10:00 AM. Subway access is easily available from several lines. For walking and hiking much better than central park and much quieter!

An easy subway stop of the F train delivers you to one of the entrances of Prospect Park. This particular entry way has a parking lot which detracts a bit from its picturesque qualities, but we were only able to explore the periphery of all Prospect has to offer. We hope to return soon...

Inconsistent schedule for when it does actually stop here, and I saw a guy whacking it here today by the Windsor place stairs… so hopefully in the future this station is safer, there’s a lot of kids in the area who don’t...
