A NO BRAINER – YES COME ABOARD NOW! I had an amazing experience sailing with the crew of Atlantic Yachting. This group is very well organized, the boats are well maintained and the staff is highly knowledgeable and very friendly. My trainer Eric was a pleasure to sail with. He immediately put me at the helm of the J24, and we had a chance to get to know each other while we got caught in a zero-action-zone for an hour, with the current taking us North. We just couldn’t realize what was coming next. Upon a scan of the sky for weather, I noticed a squall just behind the Washington Bridge heading our way. Five minutes later a black like formed on the water just ahead of the bridge and I recognized it was a serious downpour of rain which I expected to be pushing strong winds ahead. I shared my view with Eric, who agreed with me, and then boom! The fun started. Pouring rain and a wonderful 20 knots hit us, filled the sails and we were sailing! How great! I had a wonderful time and strongly suggest everybody that loves to be on the water to give it a shot. I can only share my experience and tell you it’s worth every penny. You will be happy. Behind it all, the great Captain Logan, owner of Atlantic Yachting, is ever watchful, as a gentle guardian angel, of weather conditions and is in continue contact with the crew, including my great instructor Eric. A truly special experience. Whether you are visiting the city or have lived here your whole life, I highly recommend Atlantic Yachting.

The crew was exceptional. The team of two for our particular cruise made us feel relaxed and welcome on their beautiful sail boat. They were also knowledgeable about their boat and the New York coast line.

I was with a small group of six and this particular boat was perfectly sized for our group. The seating arrangement allowed us to chat comfortably, while also enjoying the stunning views of New York City. Both sides of the boat were able to enjoy the views and we left we some fantastic pictures of our group.

We went on a 1.5 hour cruise; however, it would be well worth a longer trip since the trip provides a unique perspective of many of the iconic NYC sights (A coast to coast view of the center of New York along 42nd St, One World Trade, the Statue of Liberty, etc).

Looking forward to finding another occasion to set sail with Atlantic...

AMAZING!! We had the incredible pleasure of sailing with Dave P. and Mariette this weekend, and it exceeded all my expectations. We live in Manhattan and have sailed in the Hudson on the Circle Line and on a cruise ship as it left port, and so I didn’t expect much more when booking this trip. But WHOA, what a massive difference on a smaller sailboat! It was like taking a vacation without going away. Dave handled the boat with smooth and skillful expertise. Mariette was incredibly hospitable and attentive to our needs — as in predicting them before we even asked. Smooth sailing under a sunny sky with great tunes and great people … it was like being in the Caribbean rather than the crazy hustle & bustle of NYC.
