My elder aunt Parbatie Ramserup passed away at 87 years old last year during Christmas 2024.She was my mother's elder sister.Her 6 amazing children with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren prayed and celebrated her incredible life. Our entire family came to support with love and prayers.They had the funeral services and viewing at Bergen Funeral Services in Queens,New York. It was very sad because she will be missed every day by our entire family. We recently went with Bergen funeral for my dad's service, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the level of compassion and care they showed. During the whole process, the staff was understanding and accommodating to our family during this difficult time. Juliet and Maggie helped us, and they took the time to listen to us and went above and beyond for the service. The facility is very well-maintained and clean, and we all felt it was comfortable place to gather with everyone. They allowed us to bring a mariachi band which was nice. I also want to highlight how appreciative Iam for their openness to allow our family cat to say goodbye to my dad before the services started. They understood how important that was to me. We used Bergen Funeral Service in 2014 when my father passed away and they could not have been more caring and accommodating. At that time the owner, Scott, and Sohail took care of everything and they treated us like family. My father had an amazing service. My mother just passed away in April and of course Bergen was our pick for her services, since we had such a great experience with my father's service. I was a little worried when I walked in and Scott was no longer there to run everything, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that he had replaced himself with an entire staff of caring, compassionate and competent staff.
