I rarely leave negative reviews, but this lounge has pushed me to my limit. Itās not just the outdated decor or the poorly maintained facilitiesāitās the people. I always have to be worried about leaving my car parked outside because of the people that go here you never know if one of them could crash into your car at anytime. The atmosphere here is chaotic and uncomfortable, driven by intolerable behavior from both patrons and, sadly, the staff. Loud, disruptive conversations are the norm, with no regard for other customers. Iāve witnessed arguments and even borderline physical altercations. Management seems either unwilling or incapable of stepping in to maintain order. The staffās attitude doesnāt help. They come across as indifferent, adding to the sense that no one is in charge. Basic courtesy feels like too much to ask for here. A lounge should be a place to unwind, but this is the opposite. Instead of relaxing, I left feeling stressed and annoyed. For the sake of future customers, I genuinely think it would be better if this place shut down until significant changes are made or a permanent shutdown for good. If youāre looking for a calm, enjoyable environment, steer clear of this lounge. There are far better options in the area where respect and professionalism are still valued. I would like everyone who lives near this lounge for everyone to step up and letās report this place once and for all letās get this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNYX has became the worst lounge I have experienced. For the record I been coming here for the pass 3 and a half years, with breaks in between, Itās really a boring spot. Last time here at NYX , about a year ago. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, so I made the worst decision of my life and decided to see if NYX stepped they game up so I can celebrate my Birthday at a familiar spot, why I do that. My family and I sat at the table, 5 of us in total, ordered our drinks, and hookah. The music was trash, and super low as if thereās a restriction on high volume, so we made some requests and nothing, After awhile we notice the place clearing out, again some requests was made to change the music, and put the volume up. Again our request fell on deaf ears. At this point itās my family and two other coupleās sitting at 2 separate tables. No entertainment, No DJās, No ladies, nothings going on here, a dead zone. one guy at the bar playing his corny playlist refusing to change its boring atmosphere. No birthday shout outās, no bottle girls. No disrespect too you ladies (2) you guys are great at your position and the brother Hassan who prepares the hookah is the best. Over all, it was a slap in the face, a waste of time, and money. And for the most part you killed my vibe, on my day. PS, Itās not under New management, nothing changed there . Same boring vibes for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStaff rude and discriminating - A friend and I waited in line and then once we got to the main entrance an older female doorman asked me āWhat kind of night are you looking for?ā Which seemed like an odd question to randomly ask guests in a line. I responded saying that ā My friend and I are looking for a good time, and we heard good thingsā She then she straight up asked if we were gay, to which I said āNo we are not ā and then she responded ā There are plenty of other places guys like you can go to have a good timeā then proceeds to kick us out of the line. Guys like me??? Never thought I could get discriminated against at a gay club? You think it would be about inclusivity. Iām from Vancouver, BC in Canada and have gone to many clubs like this before with straight men and women and have gay friends. Never have I been treated so poorly. Your venue and your staff should be disgraced. What a bad look for the community...
