Bleu Royale Cakes — Restaurant in New York

**Event was June 27. Agreement about individually wrapped pops were made in person as well as by text on 6/21 and 6/23.

I apologize for the delay. We had ordered cake pops for my mom's 70th birthday. We agreed on individually wrapped pops to be picked up at 10 am. When we got there, they said it was being delivered. We waited for 30 min, only for them to tell us they will uber it to the restaurant instead. They sent us the link to track the uber and the cake pops were coming from a location 45min away. The cake pops did not arrive until 12pm for an 11am brunch. On top of that, the pops were in not individually wrapped nor were they all the design we agreed on. It was 90 degree weather that day and so the pops were fragile and smudged placed together in a box. The decorating itself of the cake pops was beautiful though. My family and I were very disappointed by this experience. It was unprofessional on every level. Even though communication was by text, I confirmed every detail as it went.

I’ve always ordered cake from here for any birthday occasions! They never seize to amaze me. I always get exactly what I ask for but however, last month, June, I ordered a cake for my birthday, it came perfect! Loved that it was exactly what was in the picture but I received banana cake instead of strawberry although I paid $178 for a bento box and placed the order over a month before just to make sure everything was perfect! It was disappointing that the pick up location wasn’t being confirmed when I had so much plans and things to get done, then it was so disappointing to hear my friends ask “Why did you get banana cake of all the flavors in the world?”. First time having a bad experience but now skeptical about ordering...

I am delighted that a cute café to open in the neighborhood. Plenty of seating to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Excited to have a nice and quiet café to study or work. There is a limited selection of cupcakes. I had tried their Red Velvet and Birthday cupcakes. Although the cupcakes are a little dry, it was quite good. The cupcakes are not too sweet and well balanced with their frostings. With the purchase of our cupcake, I received a little postcard offering a free cup of coffee when I bring it back.
