I usually get an acrylic overlay to maintain my growth because my nails are very soft, I was told by a friend to try SNS because it’s supposedly better for your nails. I considered just ordering the kit from Sally’s or amazon but I walk pass this nail salon ALL the time & I’ve noticed they advertise SNS in the window (my regular salon doesn’t do SNS) so I decided I’d give it a try. Monday March 19th 2018 I walked in, spent $30 on lord know what & tipped the woman even though I was NOT satisfied the went about my business. I do hair (Instagram @BY.OB) so by Friday I had realized my nails was separating for the SNS as client’s hair kept getting snagged. Somehow by Saturday night two corners managed to chip, so disappointment I did not want to go back to the salon but I had spent $30 & it hadn’t even been a full week so made my way to the salon. When I arrived the lady who did my nails wasn’t there by the owner had no problem “fixing” the three trouble nails. When he was clipping the part the was lifted her broke my nail & didn’t apologize (I’m totally over it) then when brushing off the excess powder he used a dirty brush that turned my grey nails pink (I freaking HATE pink) being as he didn’t make a fuss I didn’t say anything because I figured it would be able to file off. After filing & buffing most of the pink came off but not all, nevertheless I said thank you & left I knew I wasn’t going to return BUT I’m writing this review because at this point most of the SNS on my nails are lifting up from the bottom & as I’m doing my client’s hair this morning my nail breaks right off I had a mini heart attack because I thought I was bleeding but luckily I wasn’t. I don’t think I’d ever do SNS again but I definitely won’t return...
Read moreUsually I go here to just get my nails done when my main girl isn’t available. Today I took a leap of faith to ask them to remove acrylic off my two big toes. I gave precise detail that I wanted to SOAK THEM OFF. (They want to do a rush job so bad and for what? They barely have customers). I sit in the chair and this man proceeds to remove the acrylic off my toe with a metro card & cuticle cutters. Clearly, not knowing what he was doing, the lady that sits at the front, tries to fix the damage he has done. She uses the drill to file down my other toenail to get the acrylic off but it’s still not how I wanted my acrylic to be removed. Could you believe this woman and man sat in my face & laughed & asked me if I wanted to put acrylic on my toe again? THEY DO NOT DO WHAT YOU ASK OF THEM. Steer clear of this CHOP SHOP. The place is unhygienic, the service is horrible and they are so rude. Now I have to go to a podiatrist to make sure I have no infection from the tacky job they did. I would NOT recommend this place to worse enemy. I HOPE AND PRAY THEY GET...
Read moreThis is what I got VS. what I wanted….. If I could give zero stars I would.. This is the absolute worst nail salon I’ve ever been to, I’ve only been here twice and had issues both times because they don’t listen to what you want and they rush through the acrylic process making it sloppy and leaving gaps on the side of your nail then they try to over charge for the simplest styles just to not be able to do said style. I came for French tips they couldn’t even do that?!! I didn’t even finish my nails I just paid for whatever was done at that point and they still tried to force me to finish and overcharge me.. Then tried to accuse me of trying to leave without paying all because I asked for CHANGE for a 100 dollar bill and she only brought back $13 because she paid my balance with the 100 dollar bill when I never asked her to do that I had other money I was going to use I just needed change… WILL NOT...
