Blossom Time Flowers — Local services in New York

I bought flowers from this place and it was fine. This review is not about their floral arrangements.

However, I went with my kindergartner for her class field trip which was organized by her school. It was supposed to be a trip to the "pumpkin patch". The set up was super cute but I won't recommend it if they continue with the same set up they had. They had way too many kids and parents for the size of the place. The woman that was hosting came off a bit "rough" for little kids in my opinion. The crowd was so big some kids felt left out and were bored. The show and tell session was too long and was not inclusive for most kids in that age group and their physical ability to sit still and listen.

I overheard a teacher raise her concerns because the venue having booked two schools for one time slot/session, mixing students and parents from both schools. This is a major safety concern and the management here seemed to not understand that. They handled the situation horribly and dismissed the teacher's concerns. The conversation that took place was completely unprofessional.

There are many florists on Staten Island and I will go out of my way to get what they offer from another place solely based on my experience from this event. If that's how they spoke to a teacher raising concerns about child safety I can imagine how I'll be treated as their customer raising concerns about an arrangement...

#1 I pulled your front door handle , it was locked. That’s when I saw the sign that said “use the gate” and what do you know? It was locked. Before you try to insult me and compare me to “other patrons” know your facts. I also have common sense and attempted to call you guys which no one ever answered, so it’s pretty funny that you’re telling me to call after business hours when you didn’t answer during your business hours! I would’ve probably given you’s a second chance down the line however your response and lack of knowledge on what I did before you responded shows your lack of professionalism. I hope future consumers see this as well. Please see the screenshot attached of my call to you at 6:42 after BOTH doors were locked!

Diana and her shop have been creating arrangements for me that have always been nothing short of amazing. The bouquets have always been beautiful, and she goes out of her way to make sure you are completely satisfied with the look. I’ve gotten a few “cones” for my cousins burial plot next door to her shop and every single time I’m more impressed than the last. She always includes the colors I ask for and even offers her own suggestions. Her plant arrangement as a memorial piece for one of my dear friends was also absolutely stunning and she added a little angel to it for me. It was a no brainer to use her shop for my step mothers wedding bouquet and Diana sent me photos of the different flowers she though would suit my color request, needless to say myself and my step mother were incredibly satisfied! I would highly recommend her and her shop to anyone looking and I will be a continued customer for...
