Objects of Interest — Local services in New York

this review is solely based on the man working in the front of the antique store today, and not the rest of the business which we thoroughly enjoyed. I have literally never met someone more rude, condescending and miserable. He was so nasty towards me, and my mother and sister in law as we were browsing the antiques. And even had an attitude as one of us actually purchased something which was immediately regretted. It’s really a shame bc the cafe was adorable the food was great and the girls behind the counter were so sweet but my family and I will likely not return solely due to the encounter we each had with the same man. Walking into Objects of Interest is a blast from the past. It is a marvel to browse through with floor to ceiling collectibles and antiques. The store is arranged in areas of interest so if you like antique sewing machines they are on one side, collectible toys they are altogether. It helps make looking easier because this place is big. I would love to give a glowing five star review, but unfortunately, the guy at the front desk, “STEVE” (I believe his name is) was a total %}%%{]#}}. I can’t recall a time in my entire life I walked into an establishment and felt so unwelcome. The bakery almost makes up for the awkwardness but a pastry doesn’t wash down nice with nastiness .I sincerely I can’t imagine this place surviving with this type of uncomfortable...
