Cafe Juliet holds a special place in my heart, and each visit feels like a warm embrace from an old friend. Located in staten island a few minutes from the college of staten island, this charming cafe has become my sanctuary, my haven for relaxation, productivity, and indulgence.
Let's start with the star of the show: the Smore's Latte. Oh, how do I even begin to describe this heavenly concoction? It's a symphony of flavors, a blend of rich espresso, velvety milk, and the delightful sweetness of toasted marshmallows and chocolate. With each sip, I'm transported to a cozy campfire under a starlit sky. If you're a fellow chocolate lover like me, this drink will become your favorite as quickly as it did mine.
The ambiance and environment here is simply adorable. Picture-perfect decor, soft lighting, and comfy seating make it the ideal spot for studying, catching up with friends, or simply unwinding with a good book.
But let's not forget about the food. The Rumi's Plate is a savory delight, a tantalizing array of flavors that dance on your palate with every bite. And don't even get me started on the Juliet Breakfast Brioche. Fluffy, buttery, and bursting with flavor, it's the breakfast of champions. The first meal that I have had here that made me fall in love with Cafe Juliet is the Juliet's Breakfast Plate, the most ideal breakfast plate full of flavor!
And the drinks! Ah, where do I even begin? In addition to the Smores Latte, which is a must-try, the Cinnamon Salted Caramel Latte and the Strawberry Lemonade Refreshers are like liquid sunshine on a cloudy day. Each sip is a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more.
But what truly sets Cafe Juliet apart is the service. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is nothing short of exceptional. Whatever you need, they're there to provide it with a smile.
In conclusion, Cafe Juliet is more than just a cafe. It's a sanctuary, a haven of warmth, comfort, and indulgence. Whether you're here to study, catch up with friends, or simply treat yourself to a delicious meal and a divine cup of coffee, you'll find everything you need and more at Cafe Juliet. Trust me, once you step through those doors, you'll never...
Read moreAs a Muslim living on an island most of the time worried about the fact if my food touched pork or beacon any time while being prepared is an extremely stressful situation! Only a Muslim will understand the struggle! Only option on the island is going to ihop & was getting tired of same food or the situation! From all the Muslims living here I would like to thank the owner of Cafe Juliet ; we appreciate this. Now I can try all the food which I used to only see in menus, pictures or social media & don’t have to think about a thing .
Some people might say it’s little expensive, but I will say that I will rather pay extra to a 100% halal establishment . Also lots of people don’t realize halal meat costs way more than regular meat. So that’s important to keep in mind.
Some might think I know the owner or something, I definitely don’t know them. Today was my first time being there & after having brunch with my son I have nothing negative to say about this place . Also I try my best to explain for non Muslims who will probably not gonna understand why 100% halal places are important to us . Because in New York City there are hundreds of places they called themselves halal but they serve alcohol also. So at the end calling it halal & doing it right is totally different! So thank you again for doing it right. Altho it takes us a while to reach there but it’s ok we will definitely be back.
Now comes the most important part : food & customer service. Both were excellent, in time I hope it exceeds everyone’s expectations!
We ordered 3 items, I love French toast so I had to get that . My son ordered pancakes. I got greedy & ordered egg sandwich also . And a medium cup of coffee . Everything was delicious with generous amount of food . My son keep asking me mom you sure you will be able to finish everything, hehe! He was right I didn’t able to , so I gave it to him lol to finish !
The place is big enough, cozy , like the decor a lot. Wish it was little closer to my home so I can come every week. But it’s ok, I will travel just to seat down here with a cup of coffee & just chill . Thank you guys for the warm welcome &...
Read moreMy initial impression is that the items are quite pricey and the wait was a bit extensive. For example, a sandwich costing 15 bucks and waiting half an hour for our food to arrive. So given these two complaints, which is it still a 5 star review?
That comes down to the quality and preparation of the food. It became evident that the long wait and the higher price tag was due to how much effort the chefs put into constructing the dishes. One by one we saw how each dish came out consistently beautiful and plentiful. The accompanying salad had just the right amount of dressing and paired perfectly as a sweet and tangy contrast to the savory main course. I got the world's best pastrami sandwich and although it could've use one or two more slices of pastrami, it was very delicious nonetheless with plentiful of avocado and egg to enhance its flavor profile. My wife got the crispy egg and brioche and the brioche was so buttery and soft with a generous amount of avocado slices. Both were very delicious and my wife even chowed down the salad when she normally NEVER eats salad. I also got the iced latte that I found a bit burnt, but that could just be my own preference.
Overall it is definitely a great brunch spot and it's becoming more and more popular compared to earlier reviews. It's spacious but all the tables can be filled on the weekend. So come early or come during the weekday when it isn't as crowded. There's a lot of people here so be prepared to wait at least half an hour if you come on the weekend, it's worth the wait.
Thank you for reading and...
