Bravo Supermarkets — Local services in New York

wasn’t going to leave a review, but I just can’t stay silent anymore. This supermarket is one of those places that seems to have everything, yet somehow nothing at all. Most of the products are either expired or moldy. I’ve noticed that the fruits and vegetables are likely rinsed off when they have mold and then put back on the shelves. I came to this conclusion because, within just two days of buying them, they’re covered in mold—a lot of mold, like it had been growing for weeks.

Unfortunately, this is the only supermarket within a 3–4 block radius. On a somewhat positive note, they do offer delivery if you shop in-store and ask for it. The only issue is that they have older men doing the deliveries, which makes me feel really bad for them. Meanwhile, the younger employees just stand around pretending to organize or restock—which doesn’t make sense, since most of the items are expired, rotten, or moldy anyway.

At this point, I’m going to report them to the Department of Health and the Food Administration. I work hard for my money, and I’m spending it on food that isn’t even good quality. Especially with how expensive food is nowadays, this is...

Tried to purchase the "NO YOLKS" noodles from Bravopictured below & that was advertised in their sales paper 2 for $5.00. However they did not have one bag in stock. The manger tried to say he did have it earlier today. but the shelves were so perfectly organized with no empty area indicating that he had sold out....So I thgt a store manger with good customer service skills would allow me to purchase the Pennsylvania brand of noodles to compensate for what he didn't have.....After all its not my fault they advertised a brand not in stock. Well... he didn't allow me to do so and I will never shop...

I've been mostly satisfied shopping at this location both in person, and online. My complaint is about a recent ice cream purchase....every bar in the box was melted and deformed. The product had no doubt melted, but was kept in the store freezer, and I was the unfortunate person who ended up with it. The product wasn't cheap and because I didn't open the package right away, I didn't know the damage until about a week later...my receipt had been discarded. So just beware of iced over or soft packaging of ice cream products wherever you shop...and hold on to...
