My shopping experiences at the 117th Street ( East River) Location was HORRIBLE! There are never enough cashiers. I just left this Location. The Checkout line wait was about 15- 20 wait. Only two cashiers, while there were a good amount of employees on the sales floor, and the temperature was extremely hot. I nicely asked one of the cashiers is there anyway she can get another person to help out on the register. She said No. Then, I asked for the manager. The manager (Delmar ) came over and went behind the counter and totally ignored the fact that there was an overwhelming line . I walked over to him and asked if he can jump on the register to get the line down, and he responded with an attitude. "As soon as I clear this counter off because I have other things to do too" He sarcastically said things to another cashier about the matter which she also had an attitude. His unprofessional behavior and Poor example of a leader did not comply to the requirements I'm sure Burlington's factory requires. Great Customer Service is one of the Key Components to a successful business. If you continue to put Leaders in your locations that produce the impact of negative reviews of your business like Delmar, you would surely see a decrease in sales that can also lead...
Read more2 cashiers while 12 to 15 customers on line, 4 of which were elderly. Store is filthy. Clothes strewn everywhere. Almost felt as if store was going out of business. To add insult to injury one of the two cashiers went on break before her spot was filled. I asked a girl called Brianna, which was behind the registers " wouldn't it be better to have another cashier sign on before another leaves " this simple question i guess got her angry. We exchanged words but one thing stood in my mind. This cashier for some reason felt as if she had to tell me her pay rate. I returned with well all these customers have a hand in paying you that rate. She returned with " all the people i know making money don't shop at burlington". This was directly a hit on not only me, a paying customer of Burlington but every single customer in the store. Horrible. I will never return to this store. Some of the customers on line waiting to pay for there merchandise just dropped the items they were going to purchase and left. Very, very poor customer appreciation...
Read moreThis location NEVER HAS ENOUGH CASHIERS so keep that in mind when shopping here. Prepare to be on line for atleast 30 minutes during weekdays. The weekend just forget about it all together. Here it is December 9th and its only 3 cashiers working.(Christmas Shoppers are out) I come here atleast twice a month just to browse and see what they might have but its never the same cashier's which leads me to believe that people quit often.. Burlington you guys have to do better.. I did a layaway here and came back two days later. It took them 40 minutes to find my layaway. Hence..The cashier had to leave the register to go and get it herself because the people that are in the back wasnt answering the phone. Shopping at this location is a hit or miss most times with items. If you are a women who like to put it on, keep this in mind. Dont show up with high hopes of findings great picks... As for myself I might find something dope every 5 months...
Update: One year later nothing...
