My experience with Carpet Time was INCREDIBLE. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. I live in Chicago and I was looking for flooring for my commercial space. My interior designer had recommended that I purchase residential flooring for my business. Christina and Eleanor helped me realize that I needed commercial flooring and walked me through the entire process of selecting the appropriate flooring. They were very patient with me and answered all of my questions. If I hadn't gone to Carpet Time, I would have residential flooring in my space, which would have been a huge and costly mistake. Carpet time helped me avoid that expensive mistake and helped me pick the perfect flooring. Since I live in Chicago, they shipped me samples and even helped me track the shipments! When they arrived, they checked in with me to make sure that the samples weren't damaged. When my contractors incorrectly installed the wrong flooring in my space, I called Carpet Time and they helped me problem-solve that same evening. Eleanor and Christina helped me figure out that I needed to order more flooring so the next day, they spoke with their rep and overnighted me extra flooring. They saved me!! I don't know what I would have done without Carpet Time!! If you are looking for flooring and want a company that is knowledgeable with the best customer service, I highly recommend Carpet Time. I recently had carpet installed in my basement by Carpet Time and it was such a wonderful experience! First at the store Eleanor and Christina were so helpful. They walked me through the best carpet and padding for my basement, which will primarily serve as a play room. The current floor was damaged (see the dark spots in the pictures) and Eleanor helped me pick the best way to install the new carpet. She put in a great amount of detail and even followed up with me after talking to their carpet mechanics. We can also use the garage door as an entrance to the house and when we do this we have to walk through the basement so they helped me pick the best carpet for stains and wear and tear. This was great because I could tell they weren't trying to over-charge me or sell me a more expensive carpet than I needed. The day of the install I was so impressed with the mechanics! They kept everything completely neat and walked me through the entire process. They asked me where I would like the carpet seam and discussed the pros and cons of each location. The thing I was the most impressed with was the baseboard installation. Instead of just putting down the carpet they asked me if I would like the baseboard removed, the carpet installed, and then they reinstalled the baseboard. This is not something I would have even thought of and it was obviously more work for them. They could have easily installed the carpet quickly and it would not have not looked as great as it does. My partner and I just purchased our first apartment and wanted to get the living room and master bedroom carpeted. Walking into the showroom, we had no idea what we were looking for, but Eleanor gave us amazing options based on pictures we showed her of our furniture and wall colors, and we found our dream carpets almost instantly. It was so easy to say yes with such a reputable, reasonable, and high-quality company looking out for our best interests. Turnaround time was super-fast, and the installation was perfect! The employees who came for the installation (I'm sorry I forgot their names) were the nicest people and did an outstanding job! Even with no central air, on a hot summer day, these guys worked hard and never complained. (They even left us with a carpet cleaning kit!)
