The Original Espinal Deli 2 — Restaurant in New York

If I could put a negative star I would. I went for lunch and had a small plate of mashed plantains and one small leg of chicken. The worker in the front told me it was 10 dollars, but a guy next to me had the same plate with rice, meat and vegetables for the same 10 dollars. I asked him how much the other plate was and he got offended. He said if I wanted a cheaper price I should go to the Bronx. I told him I live in queens and I have gotten much better food for less. I asked a question and this ignorant person got offended. I did not know a paying customer was not allowed to ask for the cost of what they where buying. Any way there are plenty of latin food places in Queens. The food is normally average here but today it was actually bad. It tasted like old sour plantains and burnt chicken. Don't waste your time or your money...

5 Stars for the food !! But not happy with customer service from the one person that said he’s the boss ! Who cares? So my coworker told me about this location. I must say i was so impresse. They have a wide selection and the lady who serves the food was so nice and patient. I had multiple orders and she still reamined professional not once giving me an attitude. I had the pig feet and white rice soooooo good. The gentelman that did the payment was nice as well. I have returned twice already. My only complaint is the parking. You will definitely have to double park or circle...
