Luciano sold me a used 2018 Nissan rouge on 2/25. At first all seemed great. I drove off that day even with the air tire pressure lighting up all three tires. I figured it was an easy fix, no need to bother them. Over two weeks ago now My car key "deprogrammed itself from my car": He had me come after I had told him its not the battery as we had changed them at home. He said all he could do was change the battery, I asked if he could AT LEAST inflate my tires because I had driven AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES to queens. Which he is aware of as I mentioned the long drive. They couldn't even take the caps off the tires.... I left that day with nothing done. He said he would call me the next day to possibly reschedule friday. After no call back (all week) i called them friday to ask if i'm still coming in before i started driving. We decided Tuesday i can "Shedule an appointment" and "it shouldn't take to long". I get there at our agreed time and he tells me when i arrive that i would have to leave the car there. "i don't know exactly how long it will take", "i've never seen this". THEIR LACK OF POOR COMMUNICATION COST ME about 5 hours of my time. They said they will help me with gas. i had already switched my shift to even make it there. i work in healthcare with a side job and a back injury so its not easy. I left again that day with nothing. I told him he sold me the car like this. He just said the "inspection is up to date, should be fine rn" my concerns and fustrations were not met. Again he said he would call "by noon the next day". After no call I called him and he claimed "i never said yesterday, i was just about to call". Now I have to drive out there for the third time on friday. After all this fustration and miscommunication from some people the manager took over, kevin. Read moreI was under the impression that my partner and I drove three hours into the city to purchase a car for the price that it was listed at, and I understand the car business requires some fees. However, this dealership has deceptive, misleading business practices and they WILL slap a $5K+ fee onto the sticker price at the last minute despite their website and listings showing nothing of the sort. The dealer we met with was unprofessional and had an unhinged, self centered personality; talked about his cat ownership being a relationship red flag, his inability to responsibly purchase or maintain a used car for himself, his disdain for his son for growing up in an easier environment than him, that he probably couldn't be on a podcast without saying something "cancellable"... He even mentioned he was wondering why he's currently single, but this perfect storm of machismo and false gregariousness might be some indication of the unfortunate dates this man puts people through. I would have much preferred we had focused on talking about the vehicle, and buying it for the listed price, which brought us through tolls and tunnels to this dealership in the first place. Maybe it was that he didn't know much at all about the make and model of the car we were trying to purchase, as he was unsure of how to even show us the mileage on the dash when we first arrived, and questioned why we had chosen this model.
