Truly the best experience. I have never colored my hair before, not even highlights and decided I needed a changed. I went to my normal stylist and asked her to color my hair red. She did exactly what I asked, but I was horrified. I did receive several compliments on the color, and at no fault to my stylist but it was just not me at all. After reading about permanent hair color I was coming to the realization that it would be several years before I would be able to return to my natural hair color. I happen to come across this salon in my google search and based on the reviews gave them a call. The gentleman who answered the phone truly guided me through the process answered all my questions and put me at ease. I waited a week and scheduled an appt. There was no wait and I was immediately speaking to the stylist about what I wanted and what he was able to do. He was so attentive in answering all my questions and really taking his time to explain each product that would be used. It was so important to me that my hair would not be damaged (no bleach or ammonia). Each person in the salon was so nice and helpful.. The wait process for the product to work was several hours so I had time to speak to each person there and have good conversations. Once everything was done, I was brought in front of the mirror and truly started crying at the most amazing results. My hair was restored 100% to my natural color. I could not believe it! Never ever would anyone believe that a week prior my hair was a dark auburn red. These stylist at this salon are experts at what they do! I have not stopped talking about how amazing the people and the salon are to anyone that will listen. I feel like myself again thanks to them, and I will be returning 100% if I ever decide to do highlights or any hair adjustments. Thank you so much !!!! (Photo is of my hair dark red and then the restored natural hair color. I also included a photo on my natural hair color before any dying so you can see how amazing the...
Read moreBad service begins with the receptionist. It was a very hot day, I was in the middle of my menstrual cycle, and decided that I would have someone else simply wash and blow dry my hair for the week and it’ll be one last thing to do. I knew since it was last minute I would have a hard time finding a place, so my friend referred me to this salon. When I called the lady said they were busy and that they could take me in an hour and a half. Ok no problem. She did have a bit of a language barrier so I used short words like “ok, I’m coming”. And we hung up. I’m waiting outside on this hot summer day while on my period for an hour and a half, I call again and go “ok are you guys ready for me”? And she goes “what you said you weren’t coming” . . . I said nooo I never said that, I said ok. Why would I say no then wait all this time??? We had a little bit of a back and fourth, she called me a liar then when she got the man on the phone, she has perfect English to tell him “she said “an hour and a half?! No I’m not coming in!” And she hangs up the phone” . . . Anyways. Man begins to say at that point it was probably a misunderstanding and I’m like nooo she messed up and she’s trying to turn it on to the client instead of owning up and taking some responsibility. Forget an apology at that point. Anyways. Very rude. I’m very big on taking care of my hair and always doing new things so they really could have had a consistent client but that phone call really...
Read moreI literally had the worst experience ever here. My aunt made me an appointment with Samantha for the morning mind you it was a day before my trip! I walk in and she has an attitude- no problem. She escorts me to wash station and doesn’t say anything but constantly stops to wispier something to her coworker- again not a problem with me. When she gets me in the chair she asks me what i want. I ask for a layers and a blowout. She says okay and girllll she cut cut my hair. Like short with layers!!! It has taken me 2 years to grow out my hair, if she would have communicated that i needed to cut it that short it would have been okay with me but i was so emotional after i got up from the chair ! Mind you during my hair cut again walking away to wispier to her coworker( now im kinda bothered). Then after the cut she takes out the pin curls that didn’t even set and she says I'm done and proceeds on her phone! Girl as a hairstylist myself i am big on customer service. I haven’t let anyone cut my hair in a long time. She was highly recommended by my aunt and This was so disappointing and i hate my hair, she didn’t even give me even layers i had to fix it myself when i got home. This is the EXACT reason why i do not let anyone touch my hair. ALSO they charged me $90 for a wash cut and blow and out of respect for the stylist i STILL tipped her which i now regret.
