Joyride Bikes — Local services in New York

This is my first time ever leaving a review of a place, but Joyride Bikes is so incredible that I had to leave one. I called on a Sunday at noon because I was having trouble shifting the gears on my bike. They told me to come on by and the owner was working with one other employee on two bikes. They stopped what they were doing to look at my bike, did some adjustments on my brakes to make my riding smoother, explained to me how the gears actually work (silly but I never knew), and told me exactly how much a proper repair of my brakes would cost and that it could wait/wasn't urgent. They probably spent fifteen minutes chatting with me and adjusting things on my bike and didn't charge me at all. They were so kind, patient, and honest, and even though it's a 30 minute ride from my house, I'll be back the next time my bike needs work. Highly recommend to anyone needing repairs...

I’ve had nothing but the best experiences at this bike shop, and I can confidently say it’s my favorite in the entire United States. The team here offers super helpful advice and insights that clearly come from years of experience in the cycling world. I can't say enough about the service at Joyride. Apart from my cracked, flat tire, my 12 year old Trek was starting to annoy me with sticky grips & less than new performance. Josh took it and gave it a workover. I didn't need to know what to ask for, he just made my bike way better than it was & in the end undercharged me for what he'd done.
