I absolutely loved the experience of working with Debbie at Skincare & Glam. The spot is on the corner of 60th rd in Ridgewood Queens, accessible to public transportation. Let me just start by saying she has a really cute shop and great ambiance. The place is very clean, restroom is large, and she offers a wide variety of treatments. Not only she offers you amazing service and detailed work but she's got snacks as well, which is a plus for me :) Debbie is very sweet and suuuuper patient. Services provided: Manzilian + Upper legs wax. This was my first time getting anything waxed and I had no idea what to expect. People kept telling me it was going to be so painful and I can’t tell you how wrong they were. I highly recommend Debbie and her team! I went in to just do it one day and instead of taking my money and doing it she told me the proper way to prepare beforehand then scheduled an appointment for me. She explained everything very clearly during the entire process and let me know the proper aftercare to ensure there were no issues. Service was great, price was higher than the other local stores but it makes sense because all of the other places I wouldn’t trust (one spot didn’t even tell me what to do before and when I came in they said they couldn’t do it), the appointment was on time and she even made time to get my upper legs done as well, the area was clean and I was very comfortable. I was looking around for a facial care spot that does mirconeedling with a reasonable price, I called SKINCARE & GLAM left a message and Debbie called me back. I was lucky enough they are doing a holiday discount on their services but without the discount the prices are affordable. She was able to take me the same day last minute which was amazing, Went to SKINCARE & GLAM and I’m absolutely satisfied with Debbie’s work. She explained to me every detail of her work before starting and while she was working on me she made sure that I was doing ok and wasn’t hurting ( which I wasn’t at all) her work is detailed and clean!
