Fajitas Sunrise — Restaurant in New York

I would like a tip refund as Last night was the first time I had an terrible experience from a worker and from the condescending way they spoke to me.

I had asked the waitress (larger women wearing white, not the small lady with glasses) about the extra oder of tortillas I requested. She then explained the extra order was across from me next to my step dad who thought it was his, as it was left in front of him. I explained that neither him nor I would have know that unless it was communicated by her or the food runner. The waitress then got upset that I had pointed the error in communication and said I should have know based on my step dads order. I don’t work there, I wouldn’t know what gets an order of tortillas or not. She condescendingly stated that because the plate had rice I should have known and rolled her eyes, btw my plate also had rice.

I have gone to Fajita Sunrise countless times over the last few years. I probably won’t be returning anymore even though we love the food there.

I don’t understand why she couldn’t have just brought me another order of tortillas. She mentioned she would get me more but that we would get changed. I don’t think it would have been hard for her to just offer to get me more based on the unintended mistake. We were spending over $100 already, I know as a previous restaurant supervisor that those 4 individual tortillas are more than worth being given out to a table spending money.

After all that occurred the waitress did not ask if we wanted or needed anything else, she simply came to the table and dropped of the check like saying get out. From then the rest of the staff were the ones that were coming by instead until we left.

I hope someone sees this because I do not agree with the bill having a tip added on its own, the service was not great, as a previous tip employee tips are additional based a...

Over prices blad Mexican Food. $7.00 if you go with your loved one and are on a diet and share your plate. 7. Really? 7.00 If you are a senior citizen and can't afford 2 plates and want to share it with your loved one. Really? 7.00 if hour a colledge student and want to share your plate because you can't afford two plates or you both don't eat alot. Really? This is so wrong on so many levels. I will Boycot this place for the above reasons and will never step foot in there again. Dining out is getting expensive, on top of Food Price their is Tax and Tip that can add up to another 30% of the Bill.

Seriously, Food was bland, Meats are cut extremely thin. Seems this place is getting a bit greedy. The Funny thing is, they are Mexicans, So out of all people they Should Understand the Struggle, and not impose those fees for sharing a plate.

I would love to see them enforce those fee's, as the law states , the we only have to pay for what we eat, ohh and it also states that tipping is an option and not mandatory. ...

Went there the other week with my friend. We recived horrible service! The Waiter Seemed Bothered Because We were Making Him Work or Something, Took Forever To Attend US And Was Just Over All Unprofessional. on top of that, the food was absolutely HORRIBLE besides grossly overpriced. If you think this is authentic Mexican food you have clearly never had authentic Mexican food. I am Mexican so I know. I ordered the chorizo tacos and recived three tacos which to my dismay had not chorizo but some other kind of diced up sausage which clearly was not Mexican chorizo. My friend ordered the chicken tacitos but when the order arrived the tacitos contained chicken, onions and peppers inside which where not mentioned in the menu. She is not very fond of those things and therefore did not eat it. Had she known the tacitos contained any of those things she wouldn't have ordered that. In the end if you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine you're better off visiting the taco stand on myrtle and Wyckoff. Stay away...
