I want to echo and support Nicole because experiences like this are simply unacceptable, and businesses need to be held accountable for how they treat their customers. When you trust a local salon with your hair.....especially for something as delicate as a faux loc takedown. You expect professionalism, skill, and honesty.
Instead, what happened here was a complete breakdown of those basic expectations. The stylist changed the agreed-upon price in the middle of the service, putting the customer in a difficult position when she was already halfway through the process. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is unfair and unethical. Customers should be able to trust that the price they were quoted is the price theyāll pay.
Worse still, after the service was completed, the customer discovered her natural hair had been cut off in multiple places. This is not a minor mistake, itās a serious error that can take months or even years to recover from. When a customer brings this kind of damage to the ownerās attention, the response should be immediate accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. Instead, the owner refused a refund and only offered a discount on a future service, which is not a real solution after such harm has already been done.
This is about more than just a bad haircut. Itās about respect, trust, and the responsibility businesses have to their clients. If a mistake is made, especially one that causes lasting damage, the business must take ownership and do everything possible to correct it....not just offer a token discount. We deserve better service, honesty, and care from the places we choose to support. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions and encourages this business to do better...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to this shop almost three times. The first time I went it was $170 for my hairstyle and I loved it and the woman who did it was very kind and she braided very well and it wasnāt tight. When I scheduled for my next visit I specifically told them that I wanted her to do my hair again and they told me sheās not good with cornrows. Which I did not believe. They also had me pay the same $170 price which I told them was not fair when the first hairstyle took a lot more time and that was box braids. I gave in and I paid it. With that stylist she braided so tight and it hurt really bad. Now the third time I again specifically said I wanted that same first woman to do my hair and it was agreed on the phone because I was getting the same first initial hairstyle. When I got there they could have cared less about my requests. Because I gave them push back they all started talking in their language and wanted to charge me $200. Now how are you trying to charge me $30 extra for the same hairstyle only a few months ago. Well thereās no reason to be treated this way when there are so many braiding shops in the area.I kindly left and went to another shop. Iāll never go back there again. I find them to be extremely rude with their attitude and trying to over charge me because theyāre trying to...
