I had the pleasure of dining at Tios Bistro and I must say, it was a delightful experience. My visit was completely improvised, but it turned out to be a wonderful evening of good food and great ambiance. To start, we decided to share the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying dipping sauce added a burst of flavor and complemented the dish perfectly. For the main course, we opted for a burger and beef fajitas. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The toppings and condiments were fresh and added to the overall satisfaction of the dish. The beef fajitas were equally tasteful, with tender strips of beef, sautéed vegetables, and a delicious blend of spices. One of the highlights of our evening was the wine tasting event happening at Tios Bistro. The staff kindly offered us the opportunity to participate, and we gladly accepted. The wine selection showcased a variety of Spanish wines from the region of La Mancha. Each wine had its own unique character and taste, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different flavors and aromas. The wine tasting added an extra layer of sophistication to our dining experience. The overall ambiance of Tios Bistro was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had a memorable dining experience. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. In conclusion, Tios Bistro on Malcolm X Blvd in Harlem is a hidden gem that offers delicious food, a pleasant ambiance, and even the occasional wine tasting event.

Worst experience ever, please spend your money anywhere else I had decided to dine here bc I needed a calm clean place to sit and saw that they were having a special on tacos so I was excited to try the fish tacos I was greeted politely and was seated, but I was sitting there for 40 minutes. Nobody had come to take my order , and another couple came in two minutes after me and they had already had their drinks and put their order in for their food and I felt it was being racist because the couple was white and me being Hispanic it made me feel some type of way and more white people came in and they were serviced quickly. I wasn’t looking my best. My hair was a little messy. I had my backpack because I just came out of work, but I should have never been treated the way I was I should’ve been had my food and had my drinks and everyone was just staring at me and nobody had ever came up in those 40 minutes that I was sitting there to ask me about my order. On top of that, I went to the bathroom and when I came back, my menu wasn’t on the table anymore. Mind you the bathroom was incredibly musty the nastiest bathroom I’ve ever seen in my life. McDonald’s has a cleaner bathroom than what I saw. Then the server at the end had the audacity to say have a good day. Safe to say I will never visit this place again, needs better customer service and employees!

I came here recently for my co-worker's birthday celebration and I’m a bit indifferent about the experience. For one, the place is big and I do like that there was an indoor and an enclosed outdoor section. There were tons of heaters that made sitting outdoors comfortable. Indoors were a bar and high tables with a live DJ. It was packed and there was one server that was attending to the backyard. He was a bit overwhelmed and was trying but then gave me the wrong drink and meal. When I got my correct drink (mango margarita), all the mango syrup was at the bottom and it didn’t have the kick in it that I thought it would have. The chicken tacos were decent, it was just a bit bland and needed a bit more seasoning. In the end, the server didn’t seem compassionate about my drink situation and food and even charged me as well. This place seems to have a lot of potential but isn’t equipped to handle large amounts of people and catering to customer service.

I eat here frequently. Usually brunch but on occasion dinner. I love their coconut margarita and pork chops. On my last visit with my cousin we had brunch. The sign outside said sangria & mimosas which normally come in pitchers for 18.00. When went they said bottomless for 25.00 each person for 1.5 hrs. Ok they switched the brunch drinks cool. Our server took the order and never checked on us, the bartender was the one refilling our drinks from the bar. He saw an empty glass and came to refill it. If we looked like we were looking for the waitress he came and asked if we needed anything. When the bill came We paid splitting down the middle and wrote in a tip. While we were getting our Things to leave the unattractive waitress came and said we didn't leave enough tip. The nerve. She wanted the suggested 18.59. And said we never give her a big tip or the other guy. (Now you will never get one. You don't even wait on us you take the order bring the food and return with the bill sometimes an hour after we finish) She also had the nerve to say next time we come sheis going to add the gratuity to the bill. I said if you are adding it to everyone's bill fine make it policy but you will not just add it to our bill and single us out. The manager/owner is sitting at the bar not saying a thing. I think it was very tacky of her to approach us about her tip. She got 10.00 for doing nothing. She even pointed out the total we spent as if that should grant a higher tip. We had drinks and a brunch meal. I would probably never go again but my daughter likes their sweet potato fries. I'm just going to have to find her another spot that has those. Or I might just go again to see the...

Uncovering a Harlem Treasure - Tios Bistro

As you step into Tios Bistro, located in the heart of Harlem, you may presume it's merely a standard, dimly lit eatery in the area. However, this delightful spot has a captivating secret: a generous and welcoming outdoor dining area that guarantees a memorable culinary adventure.

The ambiance within Tios Bistro is intentionally modest, with mellow lighting that cultivates an intimate and snug atmosphere. You'll encounter an abundance of seating choices, and theres no shortage of outdoor seating offering a rejuvenating retreat from the lively Harlem streets.

While the drinks at Tios Bistro may not have been particularly remarkable (or strong), the cuisine was a redeeming factor. Their steak tacos were bussing. The succulent, well-seasoned steak is complemented by crisp, tangy garnishes that meld together to create an unforgettable taste sensation. These tacos alone justify a visit to Tios Bistro.

What further enhances the dining experience at Tios Bistro is the exceptional customer service, especially from Q, the bartender. Q was attentiveness, and commitment to exceeding expectations ensure I felt cherished and well attended to during their stay.

In summary, Tios Bistro may at first glance seem like just another Harlem establishment, but it is a hidden treasure well worth unearthing. The inviting outdoor space, combined with the mouthwatering steak tacos and outstanding customer service, make this a dining destination that demands attention. I will...
