Been going here for years. Cashiers always snobby & most of the time in a bad mood. Have no manners, (hi, how are you?, thank you, have a nice day, etc). Half the time I go in a good mood greet them, thank them. They don't return the gesture. They actually ignore me, which is quite rude to say the least, I leave feeling worse. Also THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS even when & if it was their mistake. They claim the machines either don't work or the managers not there etc. They also talk between each other & joke & gossip about people after they leave. Also they may have a butcher but they don't have a deli section. On occasion I've purchased meat to find it went bad later in the day if not the very next day. They're also very expensive. Overall I only go here because it's the only supermarket that's relatively close (2 blocks walking distance) other times I walk the extra mile to Trade Fair. If anyone wants quality food, take the extra walk to Trade Fair. They have everything you need for way lower prices. Well worth the walk. Sorry not sorry C-Town. You have a lot to improve on, starting with the cashiers who have worked there for years. The new younger cashiers are nicer. I avoid the...
Read more==================== Today I was next door at singles having a burger root beer and noticed the Wi-Fi for C-Town popped up. So I tested it. 18.3 download speed, 10.8 upload speed. This is okay and you can sit and singers and connect to it. And trade the market? Or do whatever the hell you would do and coffee in the shop. The comparison is using the 5G access on my phone and those speeds: 28.8 download speed, 63.7 upload speed. This is on April 2nd, 2024.
A smaller local older supermarket which serves the neighborhood Good selection of produce. Kinda, sorta wheelchair accessible - no steps to go up/down, but it has restricted entrance so you don't steal the shopping carts, also aisles are...
Read moreThis was my go to supermarket because it's close to me. However, today I experienced very poor customer service. I wanted to buy something that have a $4.98 tag, the cashier scanned it and it came to a different price. I told her that the price in the tag is different and she argued that it was not the correct price, right away she went to a different kind of product (which was similar, but not the same ) and added that tag instead. Then she said if I had any complain to go upstairs and speak with the office person. I was not going to spend my time and energy for 2 or 3 additional bucks. But as long as I remember when a product already have a tag and a price they...
