I recently had a very disappointing experience at Duke’s Liquor Box. The store itself had a decent selection of products, but the service I received from one particular person was unacceptable. I politely asked for a suggestion on a specific item, but the person responded with a condescending tone and an aggressive attitude when he realized I didn’t know how to exactly describe what I was looking for, since the liquor was a gift. Haven't yet had the (no doubt immense) pleasure of shopping at Duke's in person yet, but just had the most lovely phone interaction with Patrick there, who really knew his stuff inside-out, and was super kind, courteous, and patient with all of my questions. I learned about some awesome new products I'm keen to get into at some point, but for now am grateful to have gotten a bottle of their Fortaleza single barrel- cannot wait for it to arrive and to crack into this glorious Mexican nectar!
