I go to DXL because it's the only place a big man can pick something up in a rush. The last time I went I bought a black polo brand polo which cost $99 (yes I know....pricey). I also purchased a Nautica khaki which was $69 (I know not bad but pricey). When I got to the counter there was no tag on the pants so the sales person went and got the numbers off another pants. He punches it in and made a mistake on the numbers and charged me $98. I normally just swipe to pay because I know they are pricey but I felt something was wrong. So I bought it to the sales person attention he then tried to tell me no that's how much it cost. My mind said something wasn't right. I went and checked myself and showed him that it cost $68. He was just like oh my mistake good thing you were paying attention. I told him that was a costly mistake for me on his behalf. He seemed like he didn't care because it would not have came out of his pocket. Read moreAs another reviewer stated the sales personnel are in great need of re-training. On 12/23/18 I entered this store in need of exchanging a jacket for my husband. Regrettably, the size I needed was not in stock. With my receipt in hand I requested a refund. The sales clerk asserted he was not giving me a refund and accused me that the jacket was worn! Excuse me! I told him the jacket was never worn as all tags were still on the jacket, there were no stains, holes, damage or fragrances on this item. Again, the clerk stated he was not giving me a refund. The store manager granted my refund. However, accusing a customer of being a liar and dishonest is offensive and unacceptable. I will never again patronage the DXL in Bay Plaza. There is a beautiful DXL in Scarsdale, Yonkers NY, take your hard earned dollars to the Scarsdale location where you're appreciated and respected...

Recently revisited to shop for the holidays as usual on New Year's Eve.The new manger Susie was so rude cursed in Spanish while assisting a customer( punteta) . I ask for help I was addressed by Susie with a reply no we don't have that and walked away didn't give any other alternative or further assistance she made my husband feel uncomfortable. It very hard for people who wear big sizes to shop and to be treated like that is wrong. You shouldn't dismiss your customers she was very unprofessional and I will be writing to cooperate about this. My husband has never been treated like that in that store their sales reps have gone above n beyond as to ordering outside the store for him.
