Terrible service! I came to this place because a friend spoke very highly of it. It was an hour-long train ride from my home, but I wanted to give it a try. I got dip powder for my nails, and I made the appointment over the phone. However, they didn’t mention anything about cash-only payment upfront.

The lady (who was kind of rude) started doing my nails. I told her that the most important thing for me was that my nails look clean, with no cuticles and short. As she was finishing, I noticed that my nails still had a lot of skin and had a weird shape, so I mentioned it. She said that it’s part of the manicure process and that I should have told her at the beginning. So, what’s the point of getting your nails done if it’s just about changing the color? Not very smart.

It’s the first time in years that I’ve had someone say this. Manicurists always clean your nails first before painting them. I'm never going back there again so I don't recommend this place. On top of me waiting 2 hours to get my nails done, I was unhappy with what I received. In the process of doing my nails the lady had not even asked what length I wanted my nails before even cutting them, and each time I told her I wanted ballerina shaped she kept insisting on coffin nails. Their customer service is also terrible when I went back to get my nails to fix the lady had given me an attitude because I did not speak up sooner. Not even recognizing the fact that I DID pay for the nails and was not satisfied. She even mentioned looking at the footage of the security cameras to prove that I was satisfied even though it was clear that I was not; if I was I would have NOT have gone back. I was recommended this place by a friend and came here about a month ago. they did a good job on my nails and one of the girls mentioned to me that they do chrome nails which was a service that I was interested in. I live in Long Island but am willing to drive wherever if the place provides good service. I came in for my appointment today & waited about half an hour for them to start with me, only for them to tell me that they’re not doing chrome nails for the holidays. that’s not something they ever mentioned when I booked the appt & that’s what I really wanted so I decided to leave because why am I going to pay for a service that Isnt what I wanted? so now every nail salon is booked and I have to wait a week to get my nails done and this is my only day off.
