Writing this review +6 months after my visit, and I’ve been debating leaving my review amongst all these 5 stars as Ruth is super friendly and high spirited, but she totally fried my hair. Maybe she just left it for too long as she is juggling several clients at a time?! Ever since I got my hair colored with her, my hair has been so disappointingly unmanageable with the breakage and tangled mess. I walked out with great looking brightened hair for Instagram (pic attached) but so chemically damaged and I’ve been living with it for months. Even at the salon, when they removed the foils they had such a tough time combing out my hair and I’ve been living with extremely knotty hair ever since. I’ve been colouring my hair once a year for several years already, as I have very long hair, and never had such unmanageable hair since my visit to this salon. It really is just super disappointing as I paid $400 for the balayage. At this point I have to wait for my hair to keep growing out so I can slowly cut off this damaged hair, hair masks aren’t fixing...

I have been going to Ruth for more than 10 years now. Besides being an absolutely wonderful person, and providing a peaceful vibe in her salon, she is an AMAZING hair stylist. I go to her for dying my hair, haircuts, and blowouts. I wanted to try something fresh and new. I was a little nervous, but she recently did a balayage on my hair and it came out even more beautiful than what I expected! The compliments on my hair have not stopped since that last visit for my balayage. I noticed after a visit to her salon, how much people compliment my hair and how wonderfully my hair grows out. I'm so grateful for her and her amazing assistant Marisol, who also does a wonderful job. They really care for your hair and their love for it and people really shows.
