A great neighborhood eatery and just really good Thai food overall. Quaint but you totally should not skip this amazing restaurant. The food is just absolutely delicious by any Thai food standards in NYC. A real hidden gem not one of those instagram viral places (but maybe it should be?).

The Hat Fried fried chicken wad phenomenal! Juicy and tender in the inside and crispy and garlicky on the outside and the sweet side source dipping sauce was on point!!! That was so good.

The grilled beef over rice (kao kra pao nuer) was beefy especially good with the savory bed of thai fried rice. The combination of corn, fried, grilled beef, and rice was the satisfying combination.

The woon sen talay (seafood stir fried glass noodles) was sweet and sour and something that's tottoally different than Pad Thai.

The tom yum fried rice was another gem of a dish. The tom tum spices with fresh seafood and hint of Thai spiciness is something I've never had in other Thai restaurants before.

Service was prompt and the small restaurant was comfortable and roomy. A really excellent restaurant by...

Chachawan was a great experience. We started with the chicken satay, fried dumplings, the Rose Rangoon, and the Tom Kha soup. It was extremely flavorful and delicious, the portion sizes for each appetizer was also such a great plus because once we got our meals it was the perfect amount to start with. The Lychee ice tea was also amazing and the Thai iced coffee as well was the perfect pick me up because it wasn't so sweet and the coffee flavor was superb. Our main dishes were the chicken Pad Thai and my husband got the Kao Kra Pao Nuar and OMG delicious! the steak was a perfect medium rare and the rice and runny egg were delicious. The Pad Thai was so flavorful my daughter was excited to eat what she called "spaghetti." The dessert was also 10/10 the mango sticky rice was OMG perfect not too sweet but the mango was sooo good. Overall, it was an amazing experience the waitress was so nice and explained everything thoroughly. I recommend anyone looking for delicious Thai food to check this place out! Thanks again for such great...

Great little thai place that serves big portions and has good service. The taste is really good but I can’t say it’s authentic. They use a lot of American ingredients that are never used in Thailand like green, yellow, and red sweet peppers. Just something to be aware of if you’re looking for authentic dishes. That said, their food is really tasty, so I’m not really complaining.

The curry puffs were delicious but the shrimp pad thai was not so good, all the noodles were stuck together almost not worth eating it tasted old, to be fair we did order the food late so maybe it was reheated who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ I would suggest to eat in and not do take out for the pad thai, the last time when we ate there the food was much better.
