Emirates business class lounge is the perfect preflight destination before boarding business class on the A380–800.
I signed in, took a seat in the very spacious lounge and then proceeded to have a filling breakfast with fresh juice, alcoholic beverages, sodas and fresh fruit.
Ultimately it’s a buffet serving the best of what you can get on the plane. I saw no huge difference between the food in the lounge and what is served on the aircraft. My guess is that it’s catered by the exact same caterer.
The alcohol beverages ranged from champagne to Grey Goose to other types of liquor that I’m not familiar with. If you aren’t into drinking they had plenty of mango juice, orange juice, apple juice and other drinks to choose from.
The seating area is fabulous with a great view of your aircraft as well as other aircraft that are landing or taking off. One of the seating areas has chargers for your laptop or your smart phone/iPad.
The other seating areas have chairs with armrests or without armrests. Some of the seating area has ottomans for you to kick your feet up.
This lounge is most important to people boarding early flights who may or may not have had a chance to have a decent breakfast. Considering how much you are paying for your business class or first class flight, this lounge experience decently helps justify the ticket cost.
Want my return to New York City I have a five hour layover in Dubai international airport. I will definitely use the lounge there so that I can compare the John F Kennedy lounge to...
Read moreEMIRATES Lounge in JFK : what a shame ! Please read carefully : all is true !
I was one the first to get to the lounge at 7:00 for the plane at 10:40. I always enjoy emirates lounge for the quality !
Today I was shocked !😳
I see buffet with dry bread , dry patissery , dry cheese …
The waitress told me the fresh food was not delivered this morning … 7:00 am ?
It was wrong . I ask them to taste , they don’t tasted , they refused to move out… I ask him to take decision , he do nothing!
I go to shower to chill a little and the joints were rotten and broken . Water every where … I was very disappointed !
I ask the supervisor to change asap the joints … he refused to contact maintenance … !
Why ? I don’t’ know he never check before the buffet the showers … nothing !
Why there is a supervisor ? He supervise nothing … and not his shirt and tie !
Didn’t received a salary this month ?
He broke all my favorite moments in the airport !
There is thousands of people in lounge of Dubai : all is clean , fresh and fix . I always enjoy to use the emirates lounge
Why nothing in JFK ?
Please change supervisor or refund my miles … I prefer travel economics !
I hope never have to write this letter anymore...
Read moreHad a worst travel experience at this lounge especially with the front desk staff. Recently, I traveled from JFK to Dubai and I upgraded all of our family travel to Business at the very last minute during check in, which itself took over 2 hours. After we passed through the security we were looking to access the lounge to feed our 1 yr and 5 yr old kids before boarding onto 12 hr long flight but we were denied entry into lounge saying the upgraded business ticket which we purchased wouldn't be eligible for lounge access, no one informed us about it while upgrading. I told the same to front desk lady but even then she wasn't keen on letting us in. We had Priority pass which has access to other lounges. so we tried to get into Air India lounge which is next door but that had a 3 hr waiting time, so i went back to emirates and even requested to speak with manager but she was constantly saying that manager is on different floor and didn't even let me speak with manager. Front desk lady didn't even consider us even when I made multiple requests. This has caused a lot of frustration before boarding a 12 hr...
