Delta Sky Club x American Express!

The only privilege this partnership got customers was the privilege to stand in line. For anyone that has held a Sky Club membership before this horrific partnership began. You will remember the days of just breezing in the Sky Club to relax before a flight or you may even be one of those members that utilized the showers between long international connections. Well Delta has found a way to literally kill the main reason clubs were created. To provide its members a place of tranquility to escape the crowded airport for a more pleasant lounging experience while waiting to depart. Thank to American Express and Delta's greed of whatever compensation it received to literally let any Platinum card member into the club. The days of the Sky Club being tranquil are over. Now you find fully packed clubs, extremely long lines and a place that now has literally more people inside the club than are outside in the terminal. There is no privilege to the Sky Club anymore and there are very few alternatives. Even using competing airlines you will find their credit card partners has also packed their clubs. These clubs use to be for the privileged that didnt mind dropping close to $1k per year to escape the crowds. Now you find the non privileged stuffing their faces with all the food and booze they can while stuffing their bags with snack for their flights. These Clubs are disgusting now with the service of staff and the behavior of its customers. Even with a Diamond status you still subjected to the same atmosphere inside the club you were hoping to avoid. Delta if you are taking your customers reviews seriously it would be in the best interest of your Club members to return to paid memberships and end all relationships with American Express where their card grants membership to Delta Sky Clubs. Should Delta need to be provided any other proof to reach this decision. All that needs to be done is to take a look at airport that have both Delta Sky Clubs and American Express Centurion Clubs. The Centurion clubs are never full, American Express makes sure to provide their card holders with a privileged experience while the Sky Clubs are filled with their card holders. Even with Amex Platinum holders being granted access to Priority Lounges these card holders still crowd Sky Clubs. There is no privilege in being Sky Club members any longer. #Delta #DeltaSkyClub #SkyClub #AmericanExpress #AmericanExpressCenturionlounge ...

I recently had the pleasure of flying with Kim Carter (based out of JFK) on a Delta/Endeavor Air flight to Traverse City, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service she provided. From the moment we boarded the plane, Kim's warm and friendly demeanor immediately put my two teens and me at ease.

Throughout the flight, Kim went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, consistently checking in to see if there was anything else she could do to make our journey more enjoyable. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our well-being and wanted to make our experience as pleasant as possible.

One particular incident stands out as a testament to Kim's outstanding customer service. During the flight, there was an unexpected issue with water leaking from above, and unfortunately, my family and I were effected. However, Kim quickly sprang into action, offering us towels to dry off and doing everything she could to alleviate the situation. Her quick thinking and responsiveness turned what could have been a frustrating moment into an opportunity for us to appreciate her exceptional service.

Kim's professionalism and dedication to her passengers were truly commendable. She handled the situation with grace and ensured that we were comfortable for the remainder of the flight. Her positive attitude and genuine kindness created an atmosphere of reassurance and made the journey all the more enjoyable.

I am immensely grateful for Kim Carter's outstanding service during our flight. Her attentiveness, kindness, and quick problem-solving skills made a lasting impression on me and my family. Delta/Endeavor Air is fortunate to have such an exceptional employee representing their airline. I would highly recommend flying with Kim and Delta/Endeavor Air to anyone traveling to Traverse City or any other destination. Thank you, Kim, for going above and beyond to make our journey memorable...

This was the biggest sky club I've visited, though I've only been to a handful. I believe it was $26 for a guest, which may be worth it if staying awhile. The food was excellent. They offered a grilled chicken breast which was juicy and well seasoned. It was so good I ate two! There was also pasta, brown rice, cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit and desserts. There were cookies and brownies available. There were at least four fruit-infused waters in pretty containers. The bartenders were nice. I appreciated them not having a tip jar but tipped anyway because of the fantastic service. Very clean. As soon as you finished eating or drinking a server politely removed plate and/or cup from the table and asked if we needed anything else. Nice amenities such as showers, complimentary newspapers and many food choices. There was adequate seating and I estimated at least 100 people though one bartender informed me they considered it slow. There is a rooftop area that is open seasonally. I bet that would be nice to visit, see the sights and get some fresh air. I enjoyed watching this very large TV (at least 70 inches) that featured exotic locations. It was nice to unwind a minute and not check email....

It is a very large lounge. Decent food. They have a hotdog cart that comes out from time to time. It is a bit louder than most most but there are several quiet nooks and they have an outside deck. Unfortunately the shade cover has come off of the outside deck so it's not a great place to be in direct sunlight.
