I have gone to this place a bunch of times. This past Experience will be the last time I’ll ever go . I’ve had hiccups with this place the times .. lady was using what appeared to be a rusted in-grown nail clipper and it caused me to have an infection on my toe for two weeks … I don’t know why I decided to go back after that.. I guess because I’m limited to the places I can go around here … so this time I got a basic pedicure .. I normally do the spa , but since it was two weeks I opted for a basic pedicure . She rushed through the whole thing and it was done in about 20 minutes … after that I decided I would do SNS with extensions .. this is where things took a turn a for the worse … the girl who glued my extensions for the SNS super glued my nails to the skin underneath my fingers .. they’re hurting as I’m typing this .. I asked if I could get someone else since she didn’t understand when I told her she was hurting me . She kept turning to her coworker and talking about me … she then began to do the powder .. which she was doing a good job at minus super gluing my nail to my skin … then one of my thumbs the extension was smaller than my thumb nail and I asked her if we could just switch it instead of wasting time adding the powder to my nail just for it to be removed …. Which ended up happening anyway … so I kept asking if I could just get a new person since it was not a relaxing experience and if I’m Paying $55 for my nails .. I’d hope it’s some what relaxing .. they told me they couldn’t .. after the 2972827 mess up , me being in literal tears from the pain and frustration, and sitting in the chair for over TWO HOURS . Yuki finally took over . Honestly she’s great go to her if you plan on coming here . Go to wan if you want a gel manicure , she’s also great . I won’t be going there anymore though because of the way the situation was handled … my nails look amazing , but the fact that it took over two hours for SNS just to have my real nails be so damaged and to have pain from the super glue .. it’s not worth dropping $50 -$100 at this place every time just to have this...
Read moreI’ve been to this place a handful of times and it’s always a hit or miss. Today I had a powder dip done. I picked a pretty fall dark burgundy color (which I always do this time of year) The manicurist was a younger girl, really short pixie cut with like silverish blonde tones to it, forgot to ask her name. She told me they were out of the color so I picked another similar color. She was so rough on the nail beds & cuticle with the cuticle remover. I went with a clean nail, no powder, gel, not even polish. I told her a couple of times she was pulling skin and it was hurting. A few she cut too much and made me bleed. That was immediately a red flag that this kid didn’t know what she’s doing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and just toughed it out. She then proceeded to apply the powder dip. Incredibly messy. It was all over and under my nails. When it was time to use the electric drill, she nipped my skin in almost all of my fingers! She definitely did not know how to handle the tool. Barely buffed the nails before applying the clear coat. She then asked me to wash my hands. The powder was all over my nail beds, cuticles and hardened pieces were under the nail as well. I didn’t make a fuss about it but I did show the owner and she had her clean the nails up better (which she did with the cuticle remover). I still paid & tipped because it’s the right thing to do although I really wanted to make them start all over and do better. I’ve been getting powder dip on my nails for over 7 years and never has a manicurist told me it’s “because of the color I picked and it’ll come off after a couple washes.” I don’t think I’ll ever...
Read moreWanted to try out a new nail place. My client had recommended this specific place and mentioned so many nice things. I did like how friendly they were over the phone and how accommodating they were being open on a holiday. I went in for a Gel manicure and a regular manicure for my daughter. at first everything seemed to be going ok. however, after a 15 min manicure on my daughter I asked to see her nails and her nails weren't polished right. they were streaky and clumpy. I asked the lady to fix them and she started huffing and puffing, talking in her language to her co worker and laughing, shaking her head and groaning. As far as my gel manicure, one hand was cut shorter than the other hand and literally cut down all the way. when I told her they were too short she proceeded to tell me its ok because my nail bed was long. The energy here wasn't pleasant at all! As a person who is also in business I don't understand how this place is still running with that type of attitude. To the manager, please keep in mind that your workers energy is absolutely everything, people want quality everything...
