I am an emerging fine artist, and I was selected to be in an international exhibition in Vancouver as part of the AIRE exhibition, and thus my week-long research of customs, shipping, crates, and international shipping journey began.

Fine Art Shippers stood out easily from the rest of the numerous companies I called that week, with their great customer service, the direct and clear answers to my many questions, and guiding me in what I needed to have in place crate wise, insurance, and packaging standards.

The quote that I received over the phone and then later on in writing was perfect for an emerging artist and my emerging artist budget. The quick shipping dates were perfect for the deadline that I was working with and easily within my needed timeline to get it to the gallery on time.

Later on, in our follow up conversations I have been so impressed with the warm and genuine desire of the owner of Fine Art Shippers to want to connect artists to those that will appreciate and support their artwork.

I would and already have recommended Fine Art Shippers to others, as an art collector of mine was looking to move something internationally. I am excited to be working with this company in the future! The peace of mind that I have had, the confidence that my work will be in good hands has been...

I needed to ship six paintings to Georgia near Atlanta from South Florida. I got several quotes from several shippers and went with Fine Art Shippers because they were the most responsive on phone and through email. I was a little concerned with the amount of time they estimated it would take to deliver them (about a month), but told my buyer up front about the length of time. As we came up close to the date of delivery we were informed that they had an unexpected change in their delivery schedule and that we would have to wait another half month for delivery. This is probably due to the fact that they only have two major shuttle routes around the country which do not intersect anywhere else along the routes except in New York City. Their website states that the will deliver anywhere along the shuttle route that is up to two hours away. Unfortunately the Atlanta area is much farther from their east coast shuttle route. It was disappointing for both myself and my buyer who had paid me a substantial sum to hear of the schedule change. I wouldn't use them again if I were shipping to Georgia again, but might if it was closer to their shuttle delivery routes. In the end the paintings arrived without incident and my...

Recently, I had to have some FINE ART shipped from New York to Louisiana and Texas, in my role as the executor of a friend’s estate. I was very leery about the cost involved and the safety of the art. As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about at all. FINE ART SHIPPERS was an excellent choice. Nick, who coordinated the pick up and delivery of the art, was friendly, professional, and very responsive to my needs. The gentleman who came to package and pick up the art was equally as professional and kind. Nick took some work off my plate by informing the recipients when the art would arrive and he informed by me once it had been delivered. I actually heard from one of the recipients, who told me how professional and courteous the person was when the art was delivered, merely three days later. I would certainly use their services again and have no reservations about recommending FINE ART SHIPPERS to anyone who finds themselves needing to transport, high-quality art cross-country. Big thanks to the team at FINE...

Fine Art Shippers made a package for a 8000usd canvas. We agreed a heavy tube, insured and shipped by FedEx. I receveived the canvas in a poor piece of single walled cartboard by DHL, uninsured. The canvas packaged was cutt off and the canvas slashed on +-12 inches long on 2 layers of the canvas. It would not happened if the canvas was professionnaly packed and protected by a heavy tube I resquested and confirmed by Ilya before he handled my canvas. Fine Art Shippers make me loose 8000 + 1470 usd invoiced for that service not provided. Fine art shippers doesn't want to assume the damage on the canvas refund the 1470 paid for a professionnal packing and not for a next door delivery. Fine Art Shippers even invoiced a crate and didn't provide it. I am sorry to write a such review, but I hope it will help others collectors to avoid a such misadventure and keep their artwork in good condition. Feel free to contact me if you need further explaination, I keep all information and pictures to proof that comment.

I needed to ship a 52x62” painting cross country, and set out to get several quotes. I found Fine Art Shippers via a Google search for art couriers. Their website and credentials were impressive and I requested a quote. Elon promptly responded and very patiently addressed my questions over the next few weeks. About two weeks after our initial communication, my painting was picked up and loaded onto the art shuttle. I had already wrapped the painting in plastic with a cardboard face. The driver brought a portable table and carefully handled the painting to add an additional layer of soft packing. The truck had alarms and two air conditioner units in the trailer. It took one month for transport from CA to FL. Communication to schedule the delivery was very good, and the painting arrived in the same condition as when it left CA. Thank you to Elon for making the process smooth and easy, and to the driver(s) who transported with care. I would definitely use this company’s services again!
